    Default wil not boot up?

trying to get a T5 going, when powering up all it does is blink the red&green lights and looks like 8's on the display blinking? Cannot get it to do anything, is it now a brick or what? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks...

Have you checked the external power supply???

If it's too weak (under 12 or more volts DC) to power up the receiver then you could get what your seeing.

The Boot-Loop File, you may need to do it a few Times to make the T5 take it and Boot up

Looks like Scooby8888 and I are on the same page, try this, disconnect the coax from the LNB (with the receiver off, this will drop the DC current draw from the power supply) and see if it will boot up. If it does then your power supply is pooched.

yes, tried with the old adapter that worked with another T5, and then tried with a brand new one, still same result??

Try disconnecting the coax coming down from the LNB, if there is some sort of short or excessive current drain it may cause this.

OK, Take the HD Module out, disconnect ALL CABLES, and Reload/Flash with Boot Loop file using null cable & loader program
You "MAY" need to do it more than once, also reading from other forums some have had success pulling the power as the
T5 BOOTS up, to access the menu etc. If you get T5 to function (no boot-loop) I would load factory file followed by latest bin
doing a Hard shut down (back switch) between each load.

What are the Specs on the Power Adapters you are using, if under 3 AMPS, not enough power
You need one that's 12v 3.5-5amp for the T5 to run/operate correctly depending on all the equipment
it needs to feed power to (LNB's Switches, HD Module, etc.)
