maybe reboot modem and router if not expired and box
check your sat signal and that your box has internet connections filled in showing it has connection

Thanks to all for your help, the problem was the internet, rebutted the Telus router 3 times and it finally kicked in. My Ethernet pc was ok and wifi was ok but not the sat. box. I should have checked first the sat box for Ethernet, lesson learned, next time I will. It could be because Telus is working on the fiber optics cable in our neighborhood.
