Well Folks the season is about to start !!!!!

So the question is ,

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBAAAALL !!!!!!!!!

The Rules:

These are the rules: if anybody has any questions, please let me know.

The rules for this season will be as follows:

#1 - Each Week the pool will consist of all games, Thursday - Sunday - Monday Night. You need to predict the winning team for all games, you also need to bet on the total score for all games, and finally bet on Monday nights score outcome (seperatly). the player with the highest right correct picks wins the week. In case of a tie, the tiebreaker will be the total points scored that week for all games. In case of a second tie, the second tie-breaker will be the one who closest predicts Monday Nights game.

#2 - The first mission is to correctly choose the winning team in each game of each week. The person with the most correct winning teams for the week will be the weekly winner.

#3 - The second mission is to tell us what you think the score of each of weeks games will be. The total score for the weeks games is the tiebreaker for 2018. In case of another tie, the person closest to Monday nights game points will be the winner. Does not matter if you pick over or under, whoever picks closet to the actual total points will be the winner.
In case of a rare Monday night double header,,, it's always the second games scores which will be used to determine the second tie-breaker

Example

1) winning team
2) score for all games (including monday)
3) Monday nights game

#4 - The season winner will be the person with the best Win / Loss record
In the event of a season tie, the tied players "weekly" score predictions, for week, 15, 16, and 17 will be calculated and the person closest to the actual "weekly" game score points will be crowned the winner
In the unlikely event of another tie, the tied players Monday night score predictions, for weeks 15, 16, and 17 will be calculated and the person closest to the actual Monday night game score points will be crowned the winner

# 5 - The deadline for bets will be 1/2 hour prior to the first game of each week, no matter the day or the time of that first game. there will be no EXCEPTION to this rule UNLESS prior arrangements have been made by way of a PM . If you didn't have the opportunity to place your picks for the Thursday game then you can still place your Sunday picks 1/2 before kickoff and the Thursday game will taken as a loss. All times are eastern standard time.

# 6 - 'bets' will be placed in a new thread

# 7 - 'bets' can only be placed by satfix members only.

# 8 - If for some reason you can't place your bets, be it travel, work, etc. but still want to participate, just send a PM to me and we will work with you

# 9 - any picks can be edited, however, a) they must be done by the weeks deadline (half hour before game start) and b) because once I record the bets, I don't usually go back and double check (that's too much work) therefore for edits to be valid, I need to be informed by PM that a change has been made or just simply make a new post in the weekly thread or it won't count

# 10 - In the unlikely event of a football game tie ,, every player will be scored zero (0) points

# 11 - All the games must be made on Thursday --- 1 hour before Thursday Night Football

No bet or lines, just pick the team you think is going to win. Add total points for the whole week and total points for the Monday night game.

I understand how to make picks and points.This is what I didn't understand > # 6 - 'bets' will be placed in a new thread.

Bets=picks. Your bet is the team you pick to win.

Why does #6 say new thread.TLG sets up each week game in a thread 1 through 17 threads and we reply to that thread with our picks and scores as games come up.

Question...... Because I am a dumbass, 2022 season, for Sunday/Monday games, say someone gets hurts on the Friday before, are we Allowed to change our pick of that "game" up to 1/2 hour before game time, say 4:05 PM of the Sunday games as an example?
