Default No Connect after changing modem/router

Is there any way to delete the network server info?

After replacing my modem/router I get "no ethernet cable connected" message when powering up the box.

I can get it to connect by going into Network settings and pressing the red save button...but this is a bit of a pain.

I'm pretty sure this is because I had used static IP settings before changing modem/router but now wish to use DHCP.

Selecting DHCP does not seem to stay saved when I select it...have to use the red save button every time I power on the box.

I suspect that I could resolve the issue by putting fresh info into the server settings but can find no way to delete the current server info. Tried factory reset and new bin (106) but still the old servers I have input are there???

Is there no way to delete these things and start fresh?

Thanks for any help/suggestions for this issue.

You could run a factory default and reload the box and rescan and input settings.

    Thanks for the reply.

I did System Recovery / 0000 / Factory Set before reinstalling the factory bin and the 106 bin and rescanning etc. but all of my Server Settings were still there after the process.
Is there some other way of doing it?

OK, open network settings, where it lists all the headings (connection mode, IP address, etc. etc.) next push blue button on remote (server setup) input password (default=0000) box opens to your server provider, hit the OK button on remote, another
box opens this is where you can edit/delete the different headings/settings etc. Once you are finished editing the fields needed
hit the exit button remote, a box should open up asking you to save, you hit the OK button to save "YES" Before you exit all
the way out make sure DHCP is enabled and saved, also you should reboot modem/router & T5 so that modem/router will give
assign a New IP Address to the T5

then I would say your router maybe has assigned or set a Static IP For your T5 or firewall settings on router maybe the issue
Log into your Router and see if it SEE'S the T5 and if the router is set to DHCP or Static ? Also are you using a VPN or have
VPN Enabled on the router ?

When logging onto the router I could see that it was assigning a static IP to the T5 for some reason...couldn't figure out how to change this setting in the new router settings (was pretty straight forward with my previous router) so have opted to change the T5 connection to static as well and now it will connect on it's own...although much slower than it did with the previous router...another example of de-evolution I guess...

    Anyway...thanks for the help guys!
