Hi Guys -

I've been long absent from the hobby - but I do still have a couple of boxes - my Coolsat CS6000 with card reader, and my Nfusion Phoenix.

Is anybody still here from the days of F2ATV ?

Welcome to the forum. Most people are going the IPTV way.

Welcome, like maird57 said most people have switch to IPTV
Some still use the old fta but the packages are not the same as b4
Do some reading and research or feel free to ask some questions.

i was a member there i think,was the owner named "boss" there

that was b4 i learn about mail access. yup closet full of the same
along with tessats neosats box full of jtags loopers unlockers
i actually used a nexus unlocker as a pulse width modulator for
a kayak trolling motor converted it to a speed controller for it.

I don’t remember boss - probably before my time. Blindscan was running it when I was testing.

On December 23, 2009, The Kentucky Federal District court approved a settlement between E*hostar, D*sh Network & N*grastar, plaintiffs, vs. David Smith. David Smith, otherwise known as "Blindscan" and "Matchbox" by satellite pirates, was the owner and operator of F2ATV. F2ATV was a pirate website with direct connections to the KBOX, NFUSION, CNX, CAPTIVE WORKS and other 3rd party pirate groups and pirate dealers/distributers.

The terms of the settlement require Smith to pay the plaintiffs 2.5 million dollars and refrain from any piracy activity involving D*sh Network, E*hostar and/or N*grastar.

Wow blast from the past.
I remember space twister (rudy),
the unloopers, 3m sw, and so on.
Ultimately his lack of judgement on who he used to set up his servers (dan) proved costly.
I bet Steve could chime in on that as well.
They took a bunch of people for one final swoop of money right before iks with a promised 3m hack.
To my knowledge none ever were refunded and were just plain out scammed.
I think how dick has fought since the early 2000's to shut down piracy and its as alive as ever now, unlike his stock price lol

rudy is dead
steve and his parents got the shaft
wes,porno bill and the other steve lost in civil
mike got lucky because the evidence got stolen and sold
I was there in 2005 when it started going downhill
dan was told unless he could come up with my real name he wasn't allowed to use any evidence
I went fishing in lake erie and used hard drive pieces as sinkers...lol

Guess the pizza business didn't work out.

I was somewhere there also. Luckily I never used any payment trails or made any money.

The one thing I learned was how to code my own roms.

Silverman left a bunch hanging too.
That whole thing turned to a ****show.

Like everyone has said, moved to IPTV, there are some satellites still giving some channels but you have to be a true FTA Fan to love the hunt and work to get those channels............TP
