Backing up favourite and channel lsit

Is there a way to backup the favourites and channel list on a buzz 3000xpl box onto a usb stick?
I cannot locate the instructions .

Nope..I think it’s from pressing menu on the remote and scrolling to backup/restore option.

I actually didn’t try it. My 3000 box has been retired. I am asking on behalf of somebody else. Will let u know.

On an xpl3000 (with BuzzTV 2) ? That option only showed up on BuzzTV 5, and that only recently (ok relatively recently).

Been a while since I've powered up my xpl3000, but if it has anything, it would be a backup of the whole box, not just favorites, etc..

and it's done from home screen/settings not in menu

I have a Channel Master 4228 8-bay with a CM7778 pre-amp and an LTE filter, which I put up ages ago. Still fine for the locals, but most of my US content (except for some PBS channels) has gotten clobbered with all the new condo building being built around the area. Oh well. May just take it down next year, and put up a small little antenna, since don't need the beast for locals.
