Need help

Advise needed using the BT-250 remote on the model U5 when a Wicked Channel is not broadcast in stereo, it is forced to Dolby Surround 5.1 causing that channel to blare loud because that audio mode bypasses the U5 main volume control completely causing an error message on screen to use your Amplifier or sound bar remote ? I am stuck using 2 remotes now because Wicked changed servers and now we have a bunch of channels locked to Dolby 5.1 locking us out of the U5 audio control circuit, even the Mute is inoperative.
I am using a Samsung OLED TV set to external amp, fiber optic cable connected from TV to Bose Sound Bar. This Bose only works on Bluetooth control with its own paired remote. I can not pair the Buzz remote to the Bose because then you lose connectivity to the U5.
I listed this issue in the Wicked channel forum and Dishuser barked out saying the problem is Me and to take this subject here. He does not understand that the issue showed up after the hardware on Wicked end was replaced and other work done.
We now have many channels forced to Dolby 5.1 and many of us using sound bars that use IR control, we can teach the new commands to the BT-250 remote for those but not for any of the Bose units because they use Bluetooth, not IR.
I went to Bose and they of course said the issue is with the channel supplier locking us out of stereo audio control with any Buzz remote and the U5 units and others.
I tried other iptv broadcasters and they work fine, no issues because they do not force their channels to Dolby 5.1 and lock out our audio control with the Buzz boxes.
So, I am all ears here for suggestions from users.

Sorry dude, but WHAT does your issues have to do with the 2024 Remote lineup ? You should have started a new thread of your own

You may want to PM sat9182 with a few examples to start and see what he says.

I personally use wicked on my U5, but I have it connected to a basic HP HDMI monitor, and I have a dumb soundbar connected to the audio out of the monitor (which is just extracted from the HDMI signal send to the monitor), and I do not have such problem. Does your TV possibly have an option to limit to stereo for the audio out maybe ?

The issue arrises when someone like me has a Bluetooth controlled Soundbar "Bose"not IR Infared. There is No Buzz remote that will control this soundbar. So when the channel lineup changes on a group of channels from "stereo" to "Dolby 5.1" this particular channel blares loud, the mute on the Buzz remote is inoperative, and you have to use the Bose remote to control this channel audio.
There needs to be a selection added to bypass the Dolby 5.1 mandated setting to a choice of stereo when hitting the left of center button to bring up subtitles and audio settings. What good is audio settings if you cant change anything ? its useless.

I have other Tvs on the U5 and no soundbar, then when you watch these 5.1 dolby channels you have a way to a secondary volume control by teaching the volume up down to the Buzz and using different vol buttons. Another pain of course and loss of Mute function but its ok, not a perfect solution. We need that audio setup selection, Off, Stereo, Dolby 5.1 and CC.
