Dreamlink T5 software alteration?

Hi guys...we have a challenge on our hands with the transponder updates.I don't have ANY of my disassembly/compiling software anymore,& I haven't since the SV project.Does anyone know what language the software/firmware is written, and weather or not it's encrypted heavily?Once I know that,I will try to find software to look at it.It's worth a try.

I am at work so can't try but just take the DL channel list file and try to open in notepad. Rename it first in case it get corrupted.

I tried that bro...I can't identify the file format.Not ASCII or C++ ,at least I don't think.It is probably encrypted

P.S...if you have any editors/disassemblers you can send,please feel free.I'm starting from scratch.I never thought I would need them again.

This wreaks of a provider f-up almost. I tried the VS Max with the editor and no go. IN the past when the south provider made changes we were able to edit the bin/sat files and away you go... Very good chance this is B3V f-up.

I know the jynx is working but it could be that it deals with the FEC and Symbol rates better.

Look in shout box, that's what I'm doing for now. I will try again tomorrow, I think it's a symbol rate/FEC issue.

I was thinking the same.Although you can change the SR to 21500, it doesn't mean it's supported in the firmware.Same can be said of FEC.I need to educate myself better at symbol rate and forward error correction.Could be a toughie.

Was interesting when I did the network scan with DL if found new TP's with a symbol rate of SR of 21500 and FEC 3/4.

I looked at Lyngsat to see some common SR/FEC combinations but none I tired worked. After the Leaf's game tonight I'll take another run at it.

I also use Channel Master to try an open the DL HD channel list in the editor under every known format and none would open the file, so I think that is out.

91 sat. TP's 1-16 change to SR-21500 Pol.-Auto Fec-3/4A TURBO 8PSK

Have a signal lock on them after doing the changes, did a Sat. scan right after & Some are showing up but not ALL at this point ?
