Lost Channel

Tried scanning TP 12268 numerous times without any luck. Anything else I could try?

Scanned with both FEC=2/3 and FEC=AUTO.

What are your settings under Transponder List Nimiq4 TP 12268 Symb=21500 Pol=H Fec=Auto Mode=Turbo 8psk

I would do a Nimiq 4 total Sat Scan (Red Button) and turn off LNB Power to 91 when doing the scan, so there's No Cross Talk
Between the Two.

Search option=All Network search=On Top right side (TV SCREEN) In blue should say Nimiq 4 (82.0 W)
Also whats your signal strength (Quality signal in yellow) on TP 12268

I've scanned TP 12268 as you have listed, as well as with FEC=2/3 (what most of my TP FEC
, except 2 TPs, are currently at). Quality on TP 12268 is at 88%. Will try your scanning suggestion.

No luck still comes out on TP 12414, with no audio or video.

Couple of suggestions. If the channel is still in the list make sure the auto tp update is turned on in the user options. Select the channel and see if it updates. If not turn the receiver off for a minute with the switch on the back. Turn it back on again and once it boots up scan the tp only and see if that works. Seen both work in the past with others. May work may not I'm rusty.

Tried both suggestions, without any luck. Decided to try deleting 1703 and re-scanning TP and then full sat. Neither brought 1703 back. Not sure what to try next.

with Hgtv and many others like food network 1706, A&E, AMC , GSN

I'm getting HGTV on Sat 91w , tp 12268 , 21500 , 3/4a NFHD , and yes it is the new hd position for channel 1703 . Ya might want to also re-scan 91w,12297,21500,3/4a also. A lot of HD channels moved to that tp .

so you are getting hgtv on 91 but are you getting it on 82 also

Your getting 1703 on Sat 91w not 82w? Mine shows HGTV 600 on 91w. Though that is not currently working either.

I'll try it, but I need to re-align my dish for sat 91. Have not used it in a while and I am not currently getting a strong signal.

No you shouldn't need to, it just clears out the channels and sets it back to default, network settings should still be there
But you will need to re-setup your Dish settings, user options, time settings, etc. and do Fresh Scans of 91/82
First & foremost is if re-aiming dish for 91/82 is make sure you have 70% or better Quality signal strength for both Sats.
Also if you haven't done all the TP Changes that have been discussed before for 91w Sat then you will need to do that
before you do a scan on Sat. 91
