Could it be set to Static for IP or is router/modem setting it to a static IP, Make sure the Box is set to DHCP & reboot Everything including router/modem & Box, let router assign it a IP. Also log into router/modem & check to see if router can see the Box.
Curious about this as well....
Was testing out 2 different Junxboxes and neither work with LAN (cabled network). Lots of "activity light" but not working.
Both work over Wifi.
Over LAN they respond to ping over the network, but MAC addresses come up as 00-00-00-00-00-00.
I even tested putting in a 2nd router through NAT and different IP ranges to see if it was a router issue. No difference.
Perhaps none of these Junxbox clones can even function over LAN? They are Wifi only?
Have a read here post #10 https://www.satfix.to/showthread.php...ting-to-server
I have 2 without working lan.Wireless only. It's a non-issue for iks because of the little internet it uses.
Thanks, I agree it's not a big issue, although the reliability of the wireless dongles is questionable. There seems to be random disconnect/reconnects of the wlan adapter, and some complete drops requiring a reboot. I've also tried about 5 types of other wireless dongles without any success of them even being picked up by the junxbox. Also tried a couple variations of USB to lan dongles. None work, this box must require a very specific chipset of wireless dongle.
This is the 1 I purchased. It works on both Junxboxes I have:

I experienced similar symptoms and reverted to wifi to get it up and running and was planning on circling back. I did notice that it seemed to have problems with DHCP to acquire a dynamic IP address and DNS server addresses. I wasn't aware that the MAC address wasn't going through and will have to check my situation. I was planning on trying an USB to ethernet adapter to see if box firmware supports it.
I had that issue when I switched from my dreamlink to a junxbox. First issue was in the server names area. There was a space in the server name that shouldn't have been there. I deleted the name and re entered it...the blank space was gone after. The other was that it wouldn't work with the lan. I hooked the dreamlink back up and looked at the network local settings assigned to it and wrote it all down then hooked the Junx back up and entered the dreamlink network local settings information into the junx and away it went. Problem solved with DHCP off.

Certainly worth a try.
I to have exact same problems with my 2 junxbox receivers. Both are brand new boxes. Did all the scans 91/82 got the channels with sound no picture. Had to use wifi antenna that came with receivers to connect to router as the ethernet would not.Tried to connect to my server sat91/82 and would not. I set up my Dreamlink as described by another copied the network settings and then set up the Junxbox and turned off DHCP and tried to change it's network settings. I don't know how you can do that without an on screen keyboard. Can't delete or add numbers with the remote control so i'm stuck at that point. Any idea how to do it.

Update''''''''''''''' Got the receivers connected to my server but the scan did pretty much gives me the same channel list as my dreamlinks. I gained a couple of channels that went from 82 to 91. Still lost most sport channels....tsn's and sportnets. New receivers sure a disappointment.
