    Default Lost signal and quality

    Anyone have an idea how all of the sudden i lost my signal intensity reads 22% and signal quality reads 10%. Ive never in all these yrs ever have this happen. I cant imagine 2 LNB' s go bad at the same time. Thanks

    Yes it can happen, check to see if Dish moved, bad cabling, connections, bad switch, Ice/snow on LNB
    Have to track it down on what's causing it.

    Yes Noof, those 8psk modules in those Receivers Seem to be a "Common Problem" of over Heating etc.

    That's why it is very important to have supplemental Cooling Measures (fans) in place on "ANY" receiver a person is using.

    Mine did the same thing lost signal , the problem was the HD module.

    Go to Ebay and search for JB200 Module, or just do a Google search for the same, I also believe

    if i remember correctly there is a way to bring back the HD modules. i think it has to do with the the caps and i cant remember which ones on the board that short out

    All the hardware on a JB200 is surface mounted, not conventional components.They are micro & require hot air stations,ect to perform component replace ment.That is beyond the scope of your average user.

    Cheaper to just replace it, and spend the extra $$ on Cooling Measures (Fans etc.) to keep the unit cool in the first place.

    I have said/posted anyone using "ANY" FTA receiver should have cooling measures in place.
