worth going from a classic to x5 ss

I have a B5 and went to classic and the classic seems to run better
more RAM and better LAN connection
might be why
But im thinking of x5 ss would there be any performance advantage?
has a newer android ver
any help would be great

All depends what you are expecting from it.

Same CPU, same amount of memory. A little more onboard storage for the x5ss. Biggest difference is Android 11 vs 13, but OS is not the driving factor when the underlying APP (BuzzTV 5) is the same on both boxes.

B5 vs Classic is a big difference in h/w however. I always recommend (and still do) the Classic to all my family and friends, and none have been disappointed.

But everyone expects something different and different things are important to them. X5ss is a nice box and I really like it, but don't think the difference between a classic and x5ss is as big as the b5 vs classic.
