The engine is not complete yet, intake manifold needs to go on, headers are on order, water pump is installed, the power steering is next, I have to order custom hoses from the manufacturer on the power rack and pinion steering unit, the differential spring perches were all welded in place yesterday, so that's done.

This winter project is turning into a summer project, hopefully I can get it done before the big heat starts up later this summer.

It should be a sweet ride when you get done with it.

Getting back to this long term project, I have the body back on the chassis, and the wiring harness run and connected, now for some problems.

The old chassis brake lines were trashed, so I replaced them with new. now the problem, I cant get the brake line unions to seal up, I have tried 3 different makes and brands, these are supposed to be top of the line stuff from well known auto stores, I don't want to mention the brand but if you look up AGS brake lines (3/16" tubing by 3/8-24 inverted flare connectors) you will see the brand I'm using.

They have sent me some new union connectors to try out and a video to help out with the leaking problem, the connectors will be here this afternoon, I hope this fixes this problem as my hair is getting thin and my temper is rising.

Other problems are the headers I ordered are in the way of the steering linkage, I have tried a different type called block huggers but they hit the motor mounts, a friend has access to some stock OEM headers so I will see how they fit.

Any more problems like this and it may wind up on ebay as a kit car.
