Most dryers these days are energy efficient.When you go to the store to look they will have stickers on them saying so and what the Kwh per month is.The lower the number the cheaper on hydro
One thing I like to do before making any new purchases is to check out what others think...

I picked up a Fisher & Paykel set about six years ago. Made in New Zealand. Way fewer moving parts. Been very happy with them.
