Well folks its a new year, and the NASCAR season it just around the corner, with only about a month left until the Daytona 500.
I was thinking that the competition in the pool here last year was very good and prety close right up to the end. With that in mind I was thinking of keep the format prety much the same (points, and driver picks). One thing I am considering is dumping the non-points event races (Bud Shoot-Out, and All-Star races). It seems that the interest level for those races is about half what it should be, and is more effort that what it is worth. Also I feel the All-Star weekend gives us a nice break from the pool.
I am not set in stone on anything, so I would like to hear some suggestions from the audience out there to see what feed back we can get to maybe spruce things up this year. I think its always great to mix things up to make it more interesting, so please post your comments here and give up some ideas you might have.
So speak your mind, and tell us what you would like to see different....we will discuss it, and see if it can be implemented.
Keep up to date on the pool by subscribing to the 2012 season subforum and you will be notified of anything new.
Take care,
DD
