    Default the late great Leo Fender

    hard to believe guitar making legend , Leo Fender, has been gone so long. March 21, was the aniversary of his passing in 1991. i am proud to have owned a piece of solid body electric guitar history since 1952, my first electric, my Telecaster...thanks Leo, sorry i'm late in my yearly tribute

    I've always wondered if The Fendermen ("Mule Skinner Blues", 1960) named themselves after their Fender Guitars...Or car fenders, lol!

    very possible, Freddy Fender did. by the way , my tele is dated june 19, 1952 and i am the original owner
