Was at an Irish Festival all day. Had a lot of Jameson and Gingerale. Washed it down with a couple of dogs and kraut.

Yep, Labor day BBQ here also. Having friends over so its going to be a lot of cooking. Chips and salsa, chips and dip (both ranch and an avocado base), Shrimp and dip, porterhouse/New York steaks, Hamburgers, all beef hotdogs, baked potatoes, corn on the cob,...... Should be a fun time for all though it would be the best if there was Monday Night Football.

We have a "ribfest" here locally on Labour Day weekend,so to celebrate the event, we have our own "bonefest", consisting of slow q'ed pigcycles & q braised shortribs. Will be served with brocolli & cheese sauce, mini white potatoes, and tossed greens. Many beers & good music to fill it in.

Really good but I went and use the "no-name brand" sauce and I believe it is weaker and smaller jar.Althought I added a bit of water for the first hour, that made them more pork tasting then spare ribs.I will do the adjustments needed and also use the real VH sauce next time.Very tender the way in the oven. That is what was my problem before.I am going to Montreal soon,I will stop for dinner at your place.Tell mrs costact That I will eat anything you guys prepare. You guys are real cooks!
