If it is broken off perhaps if you have great skills, not sure what you may be asking...pictures as attachment greatly would help. Is this a setup issue or physical mechanical issue?

Not receiving any signal or quality. I know that it is an issue with the box due to other boxes receiving signal. With my limited eletrical skills i belive that i have determined the problem to be the coaxail receiver for signal/lnb in.
Is very rare that the "F" connector on the receiver gets damaged or loose but it could happen if the receiver was knocked off the shelf, or the connector was over tightened when installing the receiver.
I would look into a short in the coax connector first, look for any small metal flakes or wires touching the center conductor, also the center conductor wire must be protruding at least an 1/8" to 1/4" out from the front of the connector, if not then it may not make contact with the fingers inside the chassis "F" connector on the receiver.
If other receivers work on this coax lead from the LNB/switch, and have a good "S" reading, then the chassis "F" connector could very well be bad, loose or shorted inside, most are soldered onto the receivers PCB, this would take some soldering skills to remove and replace without damage to the PCB or receiver.
Some are also part of an add on tuner card, if this is the case then the tuner card should be replaced as a whole unit, as you could damage it beyond repair by touching the wrong IC chip with your fingers.
If you choose to replace the "F" connector and you don't feel you would have the skills to do so, then take it to someone that has, and that has the necessary equipment to do so with out further damaging the PCB.

I've sometimes seen the part that connects to the cable center conductor get bent in such a way that it no longer makes good contact to center wire. Sometimes you can find a short length of cable with a bigger conductor inside and that will fix the problem, or you can do some creative bending of the center wire so that it more often does make contact.
