Confirmed working with Sonicview 8000HD by doing what johnnylarue said. Set the FEC to 3/4A and it scans in the proper channels no problem.

Sorry, its not that I didn't believe you, its just that I had spent quite some time trying to make this work with no success. I'm very glad to have the answer now.
    Thank you!

No FEC options on t5 so I don't see how it's possible.

Yes, you can change the FEC on the T5. Menu + Installation + Manual Scan + FEC

If you set it for 3/4 then it might work. On the sv8000 it needs to be 3/4a. On the viewsat 9000 3/4 does not work but on the genpix 3/4 does work. Try it and let us know.

It won't work. The T5 has no setting for 3/4A.

It does scan on an SV8000 but many reports of video frame timing issues with 8psk turbo on 82 on the SV8000 which seem to lead to video stutter. Not sure if it happens to everyone though. Good luck.

Considering the support dried up on most of these older stb's 5 to 10 yrs ago any glitches or issues that were there are most likely still there. Unless someone came up with a work around. Think LB was still supported up to a year or so ago but looks as if it has dried up as well now. Been a lot of moving around of the furniture with a lot of the birds since a lot of these files were wrote to boot that may not help matters.
