Default Received Dish from Friend, Do I have everything needed?

Hi everyone, I am not new to FTA scene but I am new to having this big of a dish.

So a friend of mine gave me their dish, I think it's 1.2m. Problem is, they didn't have all the hardware. I have added pics of what I got and also of how I currently assembled it.

Will this work? I am missing the main leg that connects to LNB so I used the two side supports to connect to LNB bracket.

I ordered a invacom qph-031 that I got today but I am not sure if the LNB I recieved from my friend is C-band or both KU/C-band.

I also have a directv slimline SW3 on the rooftop from previous owner I can try modding and fitting the qph-031 lnb.

(ignore the lnb facing up, I can rotate the lnb holder, just haven't tighten the bolts yet)

That dish is a bit too small for "C" band, (depending on where your located, and please don't tell us exactly) but would work fine for "Ku" band, the QPH-031 LNB is a linear/circular LNB in one package, it is a good LNB to start with, the one that came with the dish is a maybe and it is a "C""Ku" band combo, but should be used on a larger dish.(2 to 3 meters)

Missing the LNB support for that dish is a big problem as you don't know the exact focal point to construct a new one, from the picture you posted of the dish it may be an offset reflector.

Someone here may be able to give an incite as to what may be needed to get the LNB mounted in the correct place.

One last thing, what type of mount is on the back of the dish. (please post a photo of the back)

    Thanks for the fast reply.

Here's a pic of the back:

Also the DTV dish I have up top:

I'm probably not going to bother with C-band at the moment. I was hoping to start with 97w. Not sure if it'll be easier trying to get the focal point right on the big dish or try and find a way to fit the QPH-031 onto the dtv dish.

At my old place I got 97w using a dtv international world direct dish.

The current dtv SL3-SWM dish I believe is pointed to 99/101/103. Any point trying to connect this to my fta receiver? I think it's KA/KU lnb on that dish.

I'd use the DTV dish with the QPH LNB mounted on it, but are only looking for one satellite?? Or thinking of adding a motor to the system?? (more satellites to look at)

And your receiver cant run the triple satellite LNB from DTV, it hasn't got the DC power to do so.

I think the links are for photos only, they don't go to another web site, I will fix them for him if there's a possible problem.

No worries, I already have the QPH LNB in hand so I'll work on getting that attached to the DTV dish.

I want to run a motorized set-up once I have one satellite working. Any recommendations? I found a SG2100 but it's $179 (no idea if that's a "good deal" in 2022).

So uhhhhh...yeah don't judge me but I kinda got it working LOL

The LNB isn't too secure since the neck holder is too big and the two side arms were supposed to be support. But I did get 110W, 119W, 129W on this with signal in the 80-90s like this. Couldn't get anything on 97W yet.

    Just a temporary experiment.
