I subscribe to beaver north, put all info in my receiver last night, scan nimiq 82 and nimiq 91. On nimiq 82 I can get sound with no picture, on nimiq 91 I get no service or scambled. What I do wrong?

double check all your server settings does it say connected ?


also it is very important everyone pays close attention to the ports

Today. I turn everything, receiver. router, modem, restart from scratch, after I restart my modem, router and receiver, factory default my receiver, rescan my sat, etc... still the same problem, I can go on internet with my computer, ipad, etc...

Any Error messages in your network menu ?? Possibly... Connect fail,Dns fail or connected ?
Dns fail is an issue with something on your end.
Connect fail describes making it to the server but a denial of entry for any number of reasons.
If your sure everything in the network is correct, have your sub checked and make sure it's not been turned off.

you are showing Invalid ECM Length: 0xA5 there is definitely a issue on your end somewhere
double check your configs

what fta are you useing cause its sending out wrong ecm length and will not get a return with the wrong length request

Anyone running an Nfusion HD (via NOI) or Nano premium in both North and South ponds? If so, any issues encountered or short comings with this service.

I remember my first experience with my Coolsat 7000 about 6 years ago, totally blew my mind!

HD followed on my Sonicview 8000 with 8psk.

Then came IKS on the Nfusion Nova and that was a whole new ballgame.

Now with things like NFPS and Beaver this is truly a great hobby.

Looking forward to testing Beaver to see if it is as good as the hype surrounding it.

so before you climb up all those stairs and jump head first into the water, have you done LOTS of reading?

are you aware that when you "donate" to a server there is a risk that it could be shut down tomorrow and you are out the $$$$?
are you aware that there are legal issues with this and some users have received letters from the providers demanding payment in the thousands, or risk court cases?
are you aware that this is not like a true sub with the provider, there will be downtime and freezing, most likely when you want the tv the most?
are you aware that if you "need" tv, you will require a back up to iks for when things are down?
you are interested in the "north" pond, do you know if you are in the foot print to get the signal? are you able to hit 82 and 91 without being blocked from tree's, building, ect?
are you aware that with north you will not get any vu or venus channels?
do want to pick up hd channels? if so, are you aware that some boxes will not be able to decode the signal?

i suggest you do lots and lots of reading before you get involved, make sure its for you. if you have heard or think this is a risk free, easy way to get all tv without any effort, you might be wrong. educate yourself so you can make the right choice.

First, you have to turn off/on your routeur, modem and receiver. Very often, you retreive your service.
After that and only after that, if it still freezing, contact johnny7107 or ruthie. They give an excellent service. Good luck.

I am not too concerned. I use NFPS and jailbroke (awesome) Apple TV for PPV. It's just, I am between my main house and the place I rent out of town for work. The main house has NFPS. The one I rent, I set up Beaver. I would be nice to get UFC on Beav.

Centre ice is on Satellite 82. Is that the satellite you scanned? I can confirm the channels were open

Put me down for hoping to see the Centre Ice package on the south side... this is one of the main reasons I subbed in the first place... of course, with half of the season being shot to hell I have been able to enjoy the rest of the channels and service, however. It's not a deal breaker, because I really am happy with the service and available channels, but will be pretty disappointed if I can't get Centre Ice...

Still can't watch any premium channels on the south pond. 121 wont come in most of the time, 120 and most other premium channels freeze heavily, many other channels work fine. It freezes so bad it knocks my router offline, and I need to reboot it to get back to normal. North pond is fine, no freeze, no issues. Maybe cuz I'm Canadian? lmao

New to Beaver. Noticed I have a lot of missing channels compared to what is advertised. I have done several rescans and no others get picked up. Sat signal/qual is 97+. I know my dish setup is fine as it works perfectly with my Bell 6131 receivers. Even simple channels like MTV(681) and ID(528) most of the NHL center ICE as well...I think the total scanned channels on 91 was ~289

Also, I am still unable to scan in any 82 channels (kind of a big deal for me). Is there some form of a chart/doc file that shows what TP channels are on? eg, that way I can target specific TPs when scanning.

An aside...does anyone know how to use the blind scan feature most FTAs have now (ie viewsat 9000 HD)?

You should be posting in your receiver section as beaver supplies the channels and has nothing to do with how you scan or settings. You could post in the correct forum and give your antenna settings and what switches you are using. ///No reason to blind scan as your file already has the tp embedded. If you didn't have any tp then blind scan would find them for you on a satellite. hope this helps

nice think about the lists ruthie just posted, you can see at the far right when transponder was updated ,if any of the providers have shifted channel you can then rescan the transponder they have moved to

I tried north and south
south ... same as any other service ... my advice here is to buy cheapest provider ... beaver is no different that any other iks server

north ... AMAZING!!! 3 days didn't freeze once ... fast channel change .. sd/hd very stable, same as if you paid for tv .. will stick with north service and beaver IKS for now ... because this is great

for north service ... perfect server and worth money
