The server was under attack the ddos keeps coming and every time the server has to be taken off line to stop it from crashing... and form what i have been told TV101 is not the only one being under attack.. we are doing what we van to keep it stable but if yo do some reading you will see there is no real 100% way to stop this from happening apart from tv101 going under ground and then changing all info.. We are working on it but from what i see lot of user are back up now,,,,,

what attack try the Google and type DDOS.... and as i said it's not only tv101 with out calling names there where 4 others under attack.. FYI OUR FULL PRIVATE Server has not missed a beat.. and thats because they point the attack at the domain name and ip's that we have in open.. you should do some reading before trying to post back asking what attack as if its a joke..

Yes it started again.. as i said the program is doing its job when it feel the data trying to get in it block all data till it see whats bad and then start to open back slowly so it doing a good job does get to be a pain but the good part is it only down for few mins then back not out for hours..

yes to stop the server from crashing it goes off line as in when i get the warning sent to me if i see it not handling the load i turn the server off and i also point the domain to another ip as there are send this direct to the domain name.. this is out my hands when they are doing this.. the point of turning the server off line is to not let it over load.. it the only real way to stop it from crashing.. and yes it getting often but it is what is,,,,,, i know for fact of other service that has been down for 3 days once and this was jut not too long ago.. and again last night when all was looking at tv.. so it not just me just they seem to be hitting me more than the others.. as for the bleeps i said it before nothing is perfect and i did not promise freez free but we work hared to keep it stable... no server is freez free and that is proven fact and not all blips are result of the server .... many things could give you the blip or micro frezz.....

All these denial of service attacks every day or so it seems makes you wonder if you need a reliable alternative to have a chance to view big events. I think all users will agree that this is a good idea so long as the denial of service attacks (outages) cease and your recommendations will stop this type of attack. You can,t attack what you don,t know about. Secret squirrel people.

I'm not sure how well this will really work. If they are as determined as it appears, and these attacks are coming from jealous iks competitors...how hard would it be for them to buy a membership to 101 and have access to the domain info? Not very imo.

Port 49001 is up and has not been down. Check your settings, it is on your end if you have sent a pm to satcom4 and received your domain name.

Yep - most channels are up - all Arab are up freeze free - most English are up but a bit of freezing on them as they work on it

The full hit to all channels was at 4:20 and TV101 had over 80 channels back up by 4:30

Are you sure you are down? I am currently up, but not all channels working. I believe there was freezing earlier (I haven't checked long enough recently to see if it's still occurring).
