Starting up a new server when the 3 that went the way of the dodo went down was a smart idea. What wasn't smart was not having all the ducks in a row in the event of something like this happening. "Hardware" should have been in place before offering up this new server. An awful lot of members went with this service and had the faith that it would be as advertised. Turns out that it wasn't. Now is the opportunity for the owners to pony up some of that "seed money" that everyone threw at them when the price was low at startup and make this service rock solid like the predecessors were. Time will tell I suppose.

Thank-you for bringing us TV for a fraction of what it would of cost us elsewhere. Thank-you for all the work your team does. I appreciate it.

In this hobby and yes that is what it started as, nothing is a guarantee. If you can't treat this as a hobby then you should get out now. I've been around this since the start way back in the card days. I was always grateful for those who did the real work so we could do this. So I say unless you are on the front line doing the real work. Be polite and thankful someone else is doing it for you. And if instead of complaining, offer some help. Maybe take some time to learn the true ins and outs of this hobby. Trust me it's more than just turning on the tv and b!tching that you think you're not getting what you think you should be getting. We have a great site here, again offered by others for us to use. I'm sure there is lots we could do to help out others here too.

My neighbor heard thru someone who keeps paying these resellers coming out of woodwork and take your money for few months and show good service and once you feel good about the service, guess what......RESELLER DISAPPEARS.....and you're left with NOTHING....so be super careful and don't fall for this....I think the neighbor's friend has certainly learned the lesson.....most of these resellers start off with a good service and before you know it the poor customer suckers into a 1 year service and then our buddy RESELLER vanishes in the Mexican desert....SO PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THESE CHARLETONS.......:mad::mad::mad::mad:

I hope you will not mind me adding a little to that, if u feel pi+++d off about being ripped off for $xxx then go to bev website and total up how much it would cost to order all the stuff you are getting, especially the nhl centre ice etc, now maybe you won't be so pi+++d, if you still are then call and order a subscription.

I don't think you understand how the system works.

Most of the resellers here buy credits in bulk - either from a bigger reseller or from the people that run the servers. The more credits they buy the cheaper their price.
So lets say they buy 200 credits @ $12 per credit - then they have invested $2400. They would then sell those credits to end users for more than $12 per credit. They have no control over the server and can't help you with that - all they can do is pass on a message to the guy they pay. They simply act as a middleman to get the money to the guys that run the server and they receive a small amount of money for doing that - but they have a very big risk (their $2400 investment).
If the guys that run the server skip town - then you as an end user might be out $15 or so - but the guy that sold them to you could be out $2000 or more.
If you think that is an easy way to make money - go ahead and buy some credits in bulk and handle all of the cry babies that think you are conning them.

I admit there have been some unscruplous resellers here - but most are honest guys just trying to make a few bucks for filling a need.

Great point Dells and appreciate it, however, when you add many of these poor souls who paid $$$$ for 1 year service, it adds up to quite a lump sum, don't you think, and that money is great amount for many of these sellers to pick up and leave.
