I got no problem on my end, no freeze, and it is pretty stable! Even when there is lots of people like yesterday's boxing event, all was lag/freeze free!

Yes last night a couple of PPV movie channels worked and most everything except I haven't been able to get channel 9487 which is Discovery HD on Sat. 129 for more than a week now. Can someone else try this channel if they have the 129 sat and report if it is working please?

Yes seems like it is down more and more all the time. I have pretty much given up on IKS.
They don't even have Discovery HD anymore and it's just a regular type channel. Not like it's a PPV.
I just ordered a IPTV android box so when I get it we'll see how it works compared to IKS.

UFC is pretty much a right off. Both SD and HD freezing so bad and for long periods of time it's not worth trying to watch.

Yes UFC was mostly unwatchable Sd and HD once again. This seems to be normal for Powerfta with UFC events. It's a pretty solid freeze free server EXCEPT all UFC events. What a shame!

pax, I checked my switch settings and everything was fine. Did a fac reset, now I can only get good sig (84%) on 110 and (42%) on 119. Plus my local time setting is off by 6 hours unless I set it manually. Looks like this is going to be a long day.

the strangest thing happened tonight my neighbor and i was watching his tv and the power flickered for a second off and back on quick and no way after that could he connect to the server he reboot his complete system a couple times and still no go but his other server connects just fine this has happened a few times to him now with this server any body else have any trouble connecting by times to the server just seems odd 1 server will connect fine and the other will not connect all of a sudden and both were working fine until power flickered. "Update" it was my Neighbors bad he forgot to renew i guess, and it was just a coincidence that it run out exactly when the power flickered at his place lol...

Where is powerfta with responses to our questions? I have only been able to connect to Velocity, and on the slim occasion 301 and 307. NY locals have been out of the question for over two weeks. I know it's not my sub because I just renewed in August for 6 months. Let us paying customers know what's going on please.

my T5's Server setup has 'VIP' in its IP name, I get south from Powerfta, it connects to server okay BUT all channels scrambled for over a week now.

This might be a useful heads up= Some or all of the iks providers that combine iks and iptv will give settings that only work on receivers that are both iks AND iptv capable. I don't think I'll be able to get the month I bought to work with my Dreamlink T5. :'(

Just so you know, Dishuser is correct, nfusion and a couple other boxes connected to the net for 2 years or more before the end of stand alone files, there were also some private servers back then too except they were free, so aside from paying fees, the transition was seamless for many

After the mapping came in and no more manual key changes, Viewsat was one of the best for new files, but after the all the new encryptions, and near the end of the file changing, Viewsat was the worst, they lost all their coders and often did have to pay large for new files, that inevitably shut them down until the viewsat dongle for iks

Today we have been informed by one of our suppliers that one of the resources needed to unlock the satellite signal is out of stock, and hopefully, it will be able to get more in 2 – 3 weeks. However, there is no guarantee.

We always do our best to bring you as much entertainment options as possible, but this situation is beyond our reach. We encourage all IKS users to make use of their IPTV service that they have paid for since it is a matter of time before IKS goes dark forever --this could be today, in a month, or a year; we do not know.

To shed light on the situation, Blue Sky (58W) implemented a new security feature a few months ago putting down the whole IKS service from their satellites.

We apologize for any inconveniences that this may have caused and hope you understand we are making our best effort to provide you with quality service.

Your right, some others as well, and nfusion was the big deal back then with direct connect to free iks server. All the Viewsat coders went to KBox did they not? And Viewsat was always the last for files cause they had to pay...I didn't walk to school barefoot in a blizzard but I don't remember that far back super well....lol That was some time ago now
