Each receiver has it's own code.

server is running fine i have tried both the codes they work for me

sometimes a simple modem / router reboot will fix issues

Been down since 10 AM. 2 receivers
Tried:
rebooting receiver, router and switch
check ethernet cable with laptop connection ok
checked code status on website, both receivers good till next year
Not sure what else to check.

have you checked the dish did not mover or lnb crap out

what error you get ?

just used a port check tool, isp is blocking port 12345
If anyone knows a solution I would appreciate it, in the meantime I'll do some searching online.

use firefox to check if you have

I have a few peeps that have b42891 and this is happening also. The ones that cant connect have the same isp. All others seem fine.
Hopefully not considered a hijack, just stating that it seems to be an isp block of some sort.

Solved problem by going into router settings and unchecking "use isp dns" and changing primary and secondary dns to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

you can change dns in your fta to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and should reconnect

router will change all to googles dns witch is more reliable then most isp's

but if you dont want to in router box will be fine

im thinking this is just temp issue and we are digging more

you can use anyone one of these Free Open DNS ones 208.67.222.220 208.67.222.123 208.67.222.222
instead of your Providers DNS ones.
Also if you want to test or find a good speed DNS Server in your area, go here for this Tool/program etc.
