Having major freezing and drop outs on NBC sports Bay area, reloading the profile it comes up all blank on the channel listings, ziltch, nada, nothing, have restarted several times, to nothing. This is getting to a hair pulling time.

seems ok here but i just got in and see staf restarted it 3 hours ago

More weird stuff, the audio is one whole inning off, getting audio from a commercial that was 30 seconds ago instead of the inning audio

Ch 1796 sportsnet World and ch 1797 sportsnet wwe both are experiencing the cannot decode stream message on a buzz box. Different player tried and same result.

I have a few friends here on the island that are having issues with the VOD where they are getting bad buffering. The Live and Series work just fine and do not buffer.

Each has between 85 and 100Mbps connections.
A few are over VPN and a few not.
They have tried primary and backup video player with same results.
Some are on the HD5 (5.0.799 or 5.0.775) and the XRS4500 are all on 5.0.799

Any ideas what can be done to correct this?
Is it a service or device setting issue or potentially some issue with the islands ISP?

Series and VOD should not be a huge difference honestly. Except that most series are relatively low bitrate in most cases. Is the issue on all VOD ? Are they trying to steam 4K VOD ?

Sounds like an ISP issue to me. Max speed is not everything on an internet connection. Stability and consistency is also very important.

To see if there is any major packet loss over time, you can run the test on this web page. It runs continuously (until you stop it) and you will see if there is any major packet loss, or increase in delay/jitter.

And when you do a normal speed test, as it is downloading, does the speed remain more or less steady, or are there occasional large dips ?

GR: ANT1 & GR: ERT1 - seems to be offline since at least last night.
GR: MEGA - stream is mangled again also since at least last night.

If you can check with source to see if it can be fixed, it would be appreciated.

Ch 1873 sportsnet east, ch 1874 sportsnet one, ch 1878 sportsnet world are all showing the Relax, channel will be back beach video .

Just booked my vacation to Cuba thanks to that video lol it finally convinced me.

Ch 1879 sportsnet wwe, black screen for 2 days or so..never came back

Guess one of the sources is having issues..

GR: MEGA is now in a small loop (was fixed and was working earlier today).

Just a small comment.. GR: MEGA has gone back to a quirky stream. Tried both primary and Backup players on buzz box. Primary keeps hanging and mangled audio. Backup plays, but no audio (just like VLC on PC) Was working fine earlier.

I have few sources for that stream all seem be be ****ty off and on I have changed it out will see how long this one lasts I also set to restart and check other streams on audio loss will se if that works too
