Curious how they combine the multiple playlists, wonder if it will be a mixed list or if you will be able to choose somehow what channel is playing from what server

Pretty sure some other program (which will remain nameless), already has the option to mix multiple playlists. And it was a request many times. And as usual, Buzz listens to their customers and decided to add it.

It can be quite handy since not one server has every channel you want. Right now, for my mom, I have created a custom M3U list for her, which combines the channels she wants from various sources, and I put them all into a single M3U for her and I store it on my "pastebin" account (which is what he Buzz box loads). That way if something changes, I can quickly update the list and have her do a refresh and it auto appears.

Trying to explain to her that she needed to change server, to server X to watch these channels, or go to Server Y to watch the other channels, was not an option. Box comes on, VPN auto starts and connects to specific server (since one source is geolocation locked), and then BuzzTV 5 auto starts, and all she does is CH+ and CH- Keep it simple. The more she tries to play with, the more I would need to go over to fix it.

I was going to recommend to Buzz to add a feature to BuzzTV 5, that we could program one of the colored buttons to launch LiveTV with a specific pre-selected server (rather than the last one used). Right now the colored buttons can be programmed to launch a specific app, which is nice. But being able to launch LiveTV with a specific server selected would have been nice. Could tell the old folks to just go to home screen and press the RED button to watch one set of channels, or go back to home and press GREEN button to watch the other server

no idea since I haven tested it yet
I think as long as it's in favourites search will get it

And would be interesting to see if it will only search through channel names, or search through EPG title also ? That would be nice when you are looking for channels playing something specific.
