your going to see 82 get phased out its at end of life and there contract is over for it they extended it for couple years i believe but they are going to be moving all to 91

they are making sd mpeg-4 for a reason to save space and bandwidth make some room to move all the hd over to 91

that's why you will see any stations they have in hd and sd the sd will go away so they don't have duplicate channels

the ones they dont have in hd will stay sd just in mpeg-4 format

so how do I know my Jynxbox HD v6 is mpg-4 compatible. Sorry but after all these yrs I dont know whats what. I just pay get it going and do not touch anything. I have both 82 and 91 dishes. is there something I need to do or just be patient and wait for the dust to settle. Thanks

jynksbox change transponder 1 to 10 to turbo 8psk and symbol rate to 21500

I made these changes. I now have a signal but no channels coming in after a scan on those transponders. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Figured it out. Once I made the changes the channels came up. The trick here is not to delete the channels or factory your Jynxbox. Just make the changes, never mind the scan and watch the missing channels. To bad the DL wasn't this easy.

Now why would you say that? Like I said, they wouldnt scan. What I did was I changed the effected transponders to 21.500 and then changed mode to Turbo. Watching Fox news as I type. Quit being an a...ole and try it yourself.

Depending on the box but native channel number is 225 (1225 DL) for 44 hour guide...

1522 used to give a full guide too...probably the same transponder?
