    you can see my attached screenshot above.. clearly shows 20240202 and that is from my classic earlier today. Tried a few times and had no issue.

    Very bizarre. Pretty sure the button generates an NMI, which is in picked up by the bootloader, and if the recovery partition was corrupt it would typically show the crashed android bot. Odd indeed that some boxes are affected, and others not.

    hooked it back up and updated firmware/software
    unplugged and held power button and plugged back in
    10 seconds later got recovery screen

    2. Plug in power

    Any other ideas? I have had no reply from Buzz CS

    Still no luck.
    Tried all the recommended ways and just never get to the android reset screen.

    My question to you is why issues with all of your 3 classics I have 40-50 classic users and none of them are having issues. Could you start a thread explaining what problems you are having?

    I too have about 50 classic customers and none of the others have seen this issue. This is why I started this thread.

    Only one of the three is mine. The other two are customers.

    did you order those 3 boxes at same time?
    it might be a defect and since buzztv honours their warranty it will be corrected

    So I think I have it figured out but will need to try on another box that is doing the power cycle.
    I changed the resolution on the classic to the 3840x2160 from the 1080 then did the power button/power plugged in and 14 seconds later the android screen showed up.

    My current guess is that the screen resolution is what was causing it to not show up on the screen.

    Now to check the other box when I can get it from the customer.

    That would definitely be strange, since I have mine connected to a 1080p 27" monitor
    Maybe CEC related ?

    so I did same thing to my classic. switched from auto to 3840x2160 and turned it off. then held side button and plugged in and it went to recovery screen.
