I'm getting absolutely nothing on 129. Not sure if it's my end. Is anything at all up on that sat?

After reading the post by Elk and Satcom4 my question is; if tv101 uses a different card why is it when channels go down on tv101 server it also goes down on Y and Z servers also?

Thanks. I finally found some up. I was parked on an HBO channel since they are usually first up. Not this time. Satcom4 was super helpful in helping me find some up channels. My recommendation to SC4.

As he said above, the HD channels are coming from the universal seeder source (whoever that is) in the sky so he has no control over those channels.

Lots of HD have returned. Some channels take a couple of minutes to come in, but they are starting to return....slowly.

Check your lnb , Cable And tuner. Any one of them may be at fault. Or direction Of dish may have changed Due to wind.

Thanks Bernice275....I will check those things out. If that was the problem, would some of the Echo 14 channels come in, or would all of them be down? I do have some that work, just most don't. I just don't want to mess anything up. Thanks again.

It all depend on your set up.bad Or no signal means that link between your lnb and receiver Is broken. So before touching your dish try other Working receiver or new cable or new switch or some time a loose cable connect. You have not given much info about your set up, Its difficult to narrow the problem.

All 3 are there but they come and go. Not a lot of people watch these channels - so they are not always available in the cache memory.
I am watching RT America right now (280) - so it is available. I have also watched the other two channels (Link TV and Free Speech) at different times during the day.

Maybe you could make a deal with satcom to sit on these channels all day so they would be available to everyone in the cache memory :tehe:

Yep they came back up but went down a little later again I wish I knew how to get them up and running tried to do an FD rescan satellites and channels then did a hard reboot from the back and nada.

I dont think re-scanning will help.. I think there is an issue with the individual/s seeding porn..

If 90% of your channels are freeze free, then that would indicate the problem is not on your end.
As far as ideas how to fix, you could complain to the guy that you pay to receive channels, but my bet is he already knows and would have it solved if he could. So I would suggest you wait it out, or if you need porn and ppv that bad, then get a backup p$, one that doesn't have freezing on porn and ppv at this time. good luck

you would have to give some example of what is not working for you. i have tested all that i can on my end 110/119 and where working at time i posted also some take few sec to kick in...... as i said before what i post is what is open at the time of posting but i can say a lot are open at time of me posted this now.. also the 118 i got a user to confirm and they said lots are up also.

Yep there was a little freezing and/or pixelating before 7am EST, but now it's gone on Channels 493, 494 and 496. I guess the DDOS is still happening because Channels 495 and 496 are down now as of 2:51pm EST. I have rebooted my box to see if they will come back in and nada right now.

that is the most common channel to be up and usually the first back on after an outage.

I agree also if you are running Dreamlink HD with 114 that is loaded not 119 it makes any server you are using unstable not solid and causing it to freeze...file 119. I have not had any problems since loading 114.

That was yesterdays post you quoted. Today service has been intermittant for the past hour or so and for the last 15 minutes not up. Ping IP and see.

I posted that todays date July 27 and today I recently loaded bin 114 onto my dreamlink hd box and I am not getting any freezing since then. Bin 119 was causing a lot of the freezing. If you have a dreamlink hd try it unless you have another manufacturers box and you can experiment with an earlier bin and see if that works. I know with bin 119 I also tried to reboot modem/router, computer and box and even did a hard boot later on. This bin 114 changed it all but after loading it you have to do an FD 3x before changing settings and scan satellites and channels.

Personally, I think that is a little harsh. satcom has been very forthcoming about the issues. Yes, he is having issues now, but ALL P$ have issues. I know that just recently one of the big ones had some of the same issues.

If you are not happy with the service, move on. I guarantee you that many will still tell you that satcom offers the best service anywhere, despite this week's glitch. PLUS, if you don't have a back-up, that would be your problem. Always have a plan B.

I know the issues they have. I often read threads users complain of dropped channels, freezing, downed servers/ports, and i believe they were hacked a few months ago. Yet still people buy it for its attractive pricing...

That's about it in a nutshell. As for the "hack", I'm still not sure that was ever figured out. It was like a Nixon cover up over there.

they will always be nah sayers i have proven more than enough times i will do what it takes to keep the server up for my user who paid.. with all the stuff that the attackers are doing am still here posting updates and working on the server.. that in it self is more than what other have done to end users in the past..

TV101 is not going to give up on doing what it takes to give the services that my users have come to know... there is a strong support for TV101 and my self with my end users and like any thing in life i don't expect all will be happy as there will always be something you never do good enough for some.....

Good morning ALL TV101 USERS--- AT about 10PM last night we lost the host internet where we have our cards .. the ISP said they would have it back on line by 3pm today.. so the server it self is up but you cant get any channels due the the server not getting to our cards.. i am working to get a temp setup going els where to give some sort of programming back to the users.. i will keep all posted on this as it is sorted..

Great work Satcom4 , but with the limited channels we have, they work sometimes.
When they come in, they go scrambled then back on again.
I think it's time to get a backup service, if anyone has a GOOD backup service please PM me .

did the IP change?

Try shutting down NOI and restarting it. Also try rebooting receiver. And last, it all else fails, restart everything, PC, Modem, router, NOI, and receiver. Hope this helps you and you get going.

Some info for users that are not getting on.. some time the STB's will lock up when it has sit on a channel for so long and the server did not send the CW's so it best to do a power down wait few sec then power up your unit.. and let it sit on something like 200 just to let it get on... and also this would be the case in the AM as when the server are restarted daily the unit might lock up.. Not saying that when your not getting services this is always the case but if the server is up and your not getting anything give that a try 1st.

Do you think also it would help if some Channels came back up that were down before to do a rescan after doing an FD then doing a hard reboot from the back of the box waiting a few seconds then wait and see on Channel 200 for it to come back? Thanks in advance.

rescanning will not help unless a channel has moved which is not the case here....i think what you're experiencing is even though the server is up many of the channels are not back

You might want to try completely shut down everything, PC, modem, router, receiver, NOI ( if you are running that) then power back on. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Checked Channels to list Aug 2 488,489,491,495 and 496 are down and showing scrambled. I did an FD rescanned Channels then did a hard boot from the back of the box waited a few minutes turned box back on and shows the same.

Here are some channels that did come in that were NOT on the list.
143,233,234,235,236,238,239,245,349

Wow...that's doing some hammering. Personally if it was me and you all were continuing to state things like this, I'd shut it down and say thanks for the time I had. No matter how you look at it...this is an illegal venture and yet you cry when it goes down. Be smart, get a sub and stop the whining. Nothing is for sure in life beside being born, paying taxes and dieing.

Of the channels that I had listed of not coming in, I have checked them again and the following are NOW coming in.

Some of the channels seem to have more freezing then others. I don't aim for this info to be negative in any way, just trying to be helpful. All PS have their issues and there is none that is perfect.

My sonicview is running perfectly with no issues at all but my nanopremium SE is freezing constantly.

I know that some receivers run differently with different servers but if you could somehow work on that issue, it would be greatly appreciated. I have sold a ton of nanosat receivers and I am getting a few complaints.

If one receiver works and the other does not, pretty clean the issue is receiver based and nothing to do with the p$. Sellers/resellers of p$ do not code boxes, or make bins, so asking them to fix that issue will do you no good.
You sold the boxes, explain the issue and see what they want to do, deal with it, or replace yhe box.

Thanks for posting all these channels that were on the list that did not come in and the ones that did come in that were not on the list. I should be doing the same besides just posting the porn channels that did not come up. Hopefully more channels will come up soon. Cross our fingers.

I don't think tone is bad. I have seen worse. He is stating facts. If you go to the nanosat section you will see the same complaint posted as yours. It is a receiver issue.

I checked the nano section and cannot find any relevant information. Like I said before, this problem is only recent and it was working perfectly before the server kept going down. So I really do not think it is an issue with the receiver.
