Im not an expert with servers but the dozens of people tell me that the server was working perfectly a few weeks ago so at one point the server was working fine with Xfta receivers.

I am not trying to be a nuisance, I am a reseller of TV101 and am just trying to find a solution to stop the freezing on nanosat premium SE's because of the complaints I am getting.

I checked the nano section and cannot find any relevant information. Like I said before, this problem is only recent and it was working perfectly before the server kept going down. So I really do not think it is an issue with the receiver.
nanosat freezes often if you have 2 servers on the same box eliminate one port mine works verry good when the server is up,hope this helps

I'm not familiar with the nano premium but i had the same problem you are describing with my i-link 210 receiver....so i downloaded a different software on it and now all is good with it...maybe look into that solution...jmo

Try using the IP address instead of the domain name and see if that fixes the freezing.
I think it worked for me.

I think Satcom was getting his FSN Detroit from a card and receiver subscribed in the Detroit area - but now it may be coming from New York or some other city. Check and see which MLB games are coming in and that is the city that is subscribed.
The only way to get the Tiger games is to have a Detroit subscribed card.
He may just need to tweak it a bit to get them back.

I would say , I'm on yellow alert with this server from now on. I really don't want to be rude, but it is really so hard to keep those servers up? and running? my understanding they are paying for the cards and somehow give it to us, so how come the cards are being fried if paid? I used other IKS before and they all have 1 thing in common, is that they don't inform the customers when there is a problem. the threads are divided with pro and cons opinions of how one should behave when the server is down. Maybe they'll get more customers and praises if they change their ways of doing business.

You posted the channels were down,,people told you they are up. They are up. Best advice...re-boot everything from router to reciever...this sometimes fixes issues. PM satcom or satcom staff. The other thing you may want to do is post what your setup is...type of reciever etc...

People can't help you if all you do is channel beg.

It has to be on your end! I've told you 3 times that these channels are up and working! Maybe a rescan of your sats may help you.

hy guy mine is working fine/ try these ,try using ip if you are using domain or vise versa.try rebooting youre system.check if youre firewall is blocking you.Hope this helps

This service isn't what it used to be. Communication now sucks and the bounce back after an ecm is pretty slow. Satcom4 priorities have changed for whatever reasons...maybe time to look for another provider.

It's seem like every time an ECM strike down, TV101 lost a couple channels (especially HD channels). If this thing keep going for a while, probably there is nothing left to see :)

Do you still think it is because of the weather? "the weather has been somewhat bad and some chanels have been lost today". I sure don't. It seems they(tv101) have been slowly cutting channels for some time now. We don't get near the channels we once did. TV101 was once the best, but oh how time has changed.

I am sure Satcom staff is aware of the channels losses. Have a look at the 1200 posts under this one topic alone....

Sadly, after being a big fan of TV101, I have switched to another cheap 1 year server and all the lost channels have returned. FOX News HD has been down for months, but after switching, got it back.

tv101/102 has been better the past few days. Still a few channels down and odd microfreeze but I have been actually been able to watch tv and not go down in the middle of a show. Hopefully this continues... I too was thinking of going with another server since this one has dropped down in reliability but the past week has been much much better. Will hold off for now...

I'm giving some real serious thought to changing too. When it is up, it freezes a lot. Pretty much daily now. I've hung in there for a long time, since the beginning really, But now, I can't get the channels I like to watch and no one seems to care anymore. Sad. Oh, well :)

I wouldn't worry about what others think... everyone has an opinion and he is actually right. 8/10, maybe 9/10 with IKS you get what you pay for. With this server we will have to see if it's just "growing pains" or not.

It does. It's in Settings. Look for the edit ignore list. I've had him blocked for a long time now since all I have seen from his screed is negative posts.

As for a channel list there is not a current one and you won't find one for any service that manages to stay the same for more than a few days as channels come and go all the time.

After reading these posts, it seems people don't know how to set their routers and keep posting 3 days, 4 days whereas everything is fine, except few minutes hiccups here and there. If you are on wireless and there is a microwave in your house, every time you use it, you will lose the connection, no matter how far away your receiver. To reconnect you have to reboot everything. It is also to note different receiver behave differently. Sometimes port is also blocked by the router. If you want to be in this hobby you have to learn how router work. Sorry if anyone offended with my truth.

Heck, I had to move the outlet I would plug my laptop into because where I plugged it before I had my powerline adapter connected to my LS HD Air. Everytime I turned my laptop on sure enough in 2-3 minutes I had a frozen screen or black screen. I tried this over a half dozen times and got the same result. Since I moved it to a different outlet, I can power up my laptop and the picture on the tv is no longer effected. Go figure.

not sure if they are going to do it or not. but even if they do it takes approx 24hrs to get a new domain and ip from the provider
