Don't know how feasible this is, but hopefully we can get "local" sources for TSN 3/4/5 as they carry a majority of Canadian hockey broadcasts in their respective markets.

Yep. Stabilized. For about a minute it went to the nice beach relaxing screen. Started to freeze for around 3 minutes after the beach screen disappeared and now all stable. It must have been a hiccup.

History channel on USA category and low bitrate I got a few freezes also (but they recover).
However History on USA FullHD category has been rock solid.

CA: CBC Montreal is way out of sync and choppy
CA: CITY TV Toronto seems to have stopped streaming.
FRCAN: ZESTE is also offline

For the last little while GR: MEGA is streaming some other greek channel called OMEGA (from Cyprus) instead of the MEGA channel from Greece. It's a nice channel to "add" (since it is not available in the Greek section), but it is not MEGA :)
In the last little while "GR: Mega" has been streaming fine during the day and then at one point during the day it would switch to "omega". Now however it is already on "omega".

i'll take that at face value, i'd believe it -- seen a few recent iterations of bev/rog iptv-based offerings, it's amazing how sh*tty they are!

Just a little info I found. When I was using sportsnet in the premium sports category was getting occasional freezing here and there so I replaced those channels in my favourites with the sportsnet lineup in the canadian tv category have had no issues.

Did a quick check on some of my archived playlists and I have one from wicked dating back to 2022, and there was a category called "INDIAN TV" and had about 45 Channels. However looking at a newer list from April 2023, and there is no such category. So it probably existed pre server change. But at some point between those 2 dates (either with new server install) or otherwise, the category was dropped. Reason, I have no clue. Lack of demand, original source dried up, just an oversight, etc.. ?

So was it there before, yes. It is not there now. But it has been a while since it has not been there (over 6 months).
Now, was it added back sometime between April and now, and recently removed again, I have no clue (I'd have to check my backups on my NAS for other copies).

I did try with a couple different players didn't seem to make a difference. So you could see the Indian category but the channels don't work? Can you please check the Brazilian channels? I posted a list of about 21 channels not working do they work for you?

Lebanon category disappeared as well, does anyone know if it will be gone for good or is there plans to bring it back? I’m getting multiple inquiries but I don’t know the reason.

It seems like the Indian and Lebanon channels have disappeared from the lineup , the Dutch and French channels have most of the them not working, came across only 1 working so far, thanks to dishuser feedback .
Is wicked slowly eliminating some ethnic programming , maybe due to lack of interest on these channels or is it a source issue, server issue.

The Canadian and American are still doing quite well including quite a few of the other categories

Here is a good one, not sure if correctable:
TV Series/GOT (Game of Thrones)/Season 8/Episode 3/
unwatchable, up to this episode all good, this one throughout the entire episode pauses, stops, long delay to start again, repeat.
Tried on different subs, different ISPs, so definitely this episode on the server has corrupt data.

Has been on all day, and no issues with any of the LiveTV channels. And when wife came from work this afternoon she turned on the other TV and she has been watching 24/7: Supernatural (that's her goto in the background as she does stuff around the house) and no issues.. Trust me, I would have heard about it, if it wasn't working. I just tried 3 different VOD at random, and no issue playing any of them.. OK they take 3 or 4 seconds to get started, but once they start, they work fine.

One TV using an older BuzzTV xrs4900. The other TV using a BuzzTV Classic. LiveTV video player set to Primary, VOD Video player set to backup.

If all you are getting is black, then I strongly recommend you try with a VPN. There are many ISP that are testing new blocking mechanisms. I know mine often tests blocking, especially during major sporting events (like televised hockey games), on some services. Wicked in my case has not been affected by blocking (with my ISP) except for the short period last year during the beginning of world cup. But I do have another service where is has been a little more often lately.

Problem is NOT the server, it has been working fine all day with the exception of a few international channels (which my mom called me to tell me about some freezing this morning) but those are typically a source issue.

This hobby is the usual cat & mouse game. The ISPs in the last few months have been upping their game and blocking many servers, sources, and destinations. And if they are not blocking, they are throttling like crazy. They are building bigger and bigger lists to target and many are sharing results. Many of the bigger, most popular servers are being targeted. If your ISP is throttling (constant buffering) or blocking (black screen), then you probably should use a VPN. Try to choose a server as close as possible to you, so that way you keep the latency down (only affects channel change speeds). Otherwise, reboot your modem/router. Some modem/router combos provides by ISP are just pure junk and after some time of constant streaming, they will interrupt streams.

PS: IF you are using any android box for streaming, then I strongly recommend to avoid using the "sleep" function and do a shutdown instead. The sleep function over time causes leaks in the network driver to accumulate cause the boxes to have very chopping network streams. Sure, using the shutdown option will take a minute longer to boot up subsequently. But the possibility of frustration with lagging/choppy streams is just not worth trying to save a minute at boot time.

VOD can take a 3 to 5 secs to get started, but once they start, they are fine. I have many wicked customers and most with little kids and streaming practically the whole d1sney and p1xar collection. Trust me, many are co-workers and I would have heard if VOD was not working, since many used to have netfl1x as a backup but most have already cancelled that.

There is no server that is perfect. At the cost of a subscription nowadays, I always tell my customers to consider getting a cheap backup server, just in case. So far most have not done so (since things have been pretty stable). Many actually use the BuzzTV download option for VOD and keep a few kids' favorite cartoons on there, just in case.

To see if it is the server issue, you can always use the web client (on a PC with Firefox only - go to web.wicked....... fill in the blanks - same as portal url, with a "web" in front and no port needed). The interface is like an IPTV smarters app, and use your username/password. That way, the streaming is from the web client, and typically ISP blocking will not affect it.

I chose 3 VOD at random and all 3 worked fine (no not talking about liveTV). But it can be that one of the servers was down or slow when you tried.

PS: I am using an XC type login. If you are using MAC, that may be a different story, and probably time to consider switching to XC.

2 connections is the default for an XC (user/pass) type connection with wicked, so there is no reason to distinguish that. That site does not mention it, but the wicked panel does offer options for 4 and 6 connections.

I checked and I had 3 RCN and 1 caracol. But not streaming.

BUT... I did a "refresh" to force a reload of the channel list, and now I only have 2 RCN under the "Plex USA" section (but not streaming), and the "caracol" channel is gone.

I ended up having the end users watching it on world sports section ..ch Bein sports La liga. It ended up being an upset result and a feel good story. Colombia 2 Brazil 1

Has anybody got some feedback where if some of these ethnic channels are returning. Quite a few have disappeared.

Mine also disappeared after the refresh. I had the same result as Emporium with the caracol and rcn off the list except for that same plex channel that did not work.

Just a quick update: I’m getting slow channel changes tonight as mentioned previously by dishuser post. Last night was better. The picture does come in after 5-10 seconds of a channel change and works well once it pops in.
I checked a few other backup services and those channel changes were really fast.

even if I use last channel I get that tonight
it seems to happen once a week
when it happens I've even tried cleaning cache of app but no improvement
but 5 seconds is nothing since in the end it still worx

it must be fixed because right after I posted I cleared epg,refreshed and went to guide and got 7 days of guide in 6 seconds

Quick channel changes tonight . Did notice ch 7039 under the world sports section called Astro supersport 2 is in slowwww motion the game.

Currently broadcasting the Colombia vs Paraguay World Cup qualifying game. It was brought to my attention the issue .
I could not locate another channel showing that particular game. Caracol and quite a few Latino stations used to broadcast those games.

US:Paramount Network West HD
US: Lifetime West HD
US: US: Hallmark Channel West HD

Check other US:WEST same issue /

Watch channel it pauses, then restarts, sometime a quick glitch.

Related to multiple issues I have noticed that these channels seem to show issues late in the day or at night wehn subscriber use is high. Is it possible that the server can not handle the load late in PM ? Other channels are fine indicated Not a ISP provider issue, if it was, most movie channels would be affected not just a few.
Been dealing with this for years with multiple providers and VPN use is mandated when most of the channels are affected but not when a few only are affected. Have a technical person check the issues at night, not the next day, only when it happens to see if those particular channels affected are overloaded with use.

Thats because the issue is not there.
We can only report what we see when we see it. If I report an issue I know its not the ISP blocking the server, and I know its not mh hardware, all that is ruled out orior to any report.
Most of the times my reports are checked and seen, and a work around is offered, but this is the best service I have seen so far, still have to report issues on a few affected channels when it happens hoping your end can see it and solve it.

Now I have s new issue where the provider and the box manufacturer are pointing the blame on each other! So I am stuck and not sure where to post this issue since you guys don't like certain discussions brought up.

Like I mentioned earlier.. Post that question in the right section, and you might get an answer.

And in terms of the networking, just because many think they are pros at setting up their home network, it does not mean they understand the principles behind the way iptv works. Multiple sources, multiple servers, redirects, etc.. and YES ISP can be very selective on what they block/throttle. Welcome to 2023. They can block specific servers, specific ports, and all sorts of variations. They have been experimenting and investing heavily ever since last years world cup and they are not doing it in silo's any more. Last year it was VERY evident that they could target certain services, and even target servers serving up very specific content. And let's not forget, that just because things are stable for me, they may not be stable for you, even though we may be using same ISP. There is all sorts of dynamic routing, QoS policies, throttling, and all sorts that come into effect. A VPN will often bypass many of the restriction, but can introduce some latency, and NOT every service allows the use of VPN. It is the cat & mouse game, like the good old sat days, and you just need to adapt.

Like we have said many times. There is no perfect service (and anyone that claims there is, if full of it), and uptime will never have a 99.9999 guarantee. You get a backup service (since they are so cheap nowadays), switch to it when needed, and move on. You can report issues once.. But there is no point in repeating it over and over and over.

Rogers/Cogeco/Shaw are under one umbrella and are the worst for blocking and throttling even with a VPN ( I have Rogers). You can fight back by changing your VPN to iKe2 protocol to prevent throttling. I read a bill was passed or about to be passed to prevent isp throttling. People with buffering should reboot there modem, router and device. Change city's if using a VPN if in Canada don't chose a Canadian city etc. If you have done all these things, it most likely was a problem on your end. Should the problem still exist report the group, channel full name. VPN on or off. Seller can verify the issue and report it for repair. Complaining solves nothing .

im still in doubt about isp`s throttling iptv if they were doing that i would think a letter from the isp
or and explanation but their not doing that their doing their typical throttling to all their customers
using iptv or not i think its more of a geo block thing but i cant confirm that with wicked in the U.S.
ppl that have blockage problems are you recording iptv streaming is legal recording isnt here in the U.S.
probably more so in canada i doubt this is a factor but watch out i got a friend in the pokie!

Then, when I changed to a different server, all the prementioned shows, were fine.
The common is the Server, not the ISP, not the fact that we have different ISP's, both do not have VPN, on ISP's that do not need them.

Then, when I changed to a different server, all the prementioned shows, were fine.
The common is the Server, not the ISP, not the fact that we have different ISP's, both do not have VPN, on ISP's that do not need them.

You are seriously clueless about the way the internet works. There is more than just your box, your "isp" and the destination server. There is all sorts and you can have the exact same ISP as someone else and you can still have issue. Routing plays a HUGE role. And just because one server works fine and the other doesn't "for you" does not mean it is the server. It can be a different route that is being used. And when they are behind cloudflare and load balancing, there is even more variables to the equation.
You are oversimplifying and making assumptions you are far from qualified in making. You can make them (no one can stop you), but it does not mean they are correct.
When people ask for you to test using a VPN, it is for many reasons. One is to bypass any potential throttling/blocking from the ISP for specific destination servers. Secondly, it is to force a change in the routing. One bad server or switch in the path and you can get all sorts of strange glitches. And depending on the time of day, the route may even change due to congestion. There are all sorts of algorithms and policies on nextgen firewalls and routers that it is not as simple as it once was.

But if you know everything and you obviously seem to know that it is a server issue, then just wait it out or switch to a backup server which will take a different route.

So, you are the guy that can tell tell me if me, if 1 server, is not acting correctly, not delivering packets, and causing 1 or 2 sever feeds to not work properly? I don't thing so.

Wow, just read the entire 3 pages and there is definitely issues everywhere in this industry for sure. Next time I see an issue, instead of going to this post first, I am going to other users to check from their ISP the same channel to see if they see the issue also.

Server issue or some other long shot not the server ?
I'm trying to think of ways to narrow the issue to more of the direction of Server, because I have seen them, and using a VPN did not solve it. Thats going to be a different answer then.
Lets work together here and try to weed out the individual ISP issues and when its happening to other users on different ISP, this will lean more on the Server to correct.

Okay, the 4K server has a issue.
It may also be the 1080 standard streaming output card.
Not trying to cause a problem, but Left Right comparison are showing this.

Wow, just read the entire 3 pages and there is definitely issues everywhere in this industry for sure. Next time I see an issue, instead of going to this post first, I am going to other users to check from their ISP the same channel to see if they see the issue also.

The particular channel having an issue can be verified by several users first by giving them the exact channel name of course.
Then, try VPN, then time to post the issue. This formula should help weed out individual ISP issues.

and it wasn't on server side
checking and confirming has always been done but you think you have a better way when you weren't being specific
and as I've always said channel number means squat seeing as a lot of us have several/many channel 1's

when I tried last night it played but it froze but like I said earlier I don't have the best speed for 4k viewing

Looks like the Greek Category has also taken a hit in the last few days. Out of the current 54 channels, only 4 are streaming:
GR: ANT1, GR: US ALPHA(S), GR: US ANTENNA (s), and GR: US GREEK CINEMA (S). Assuming these are from a different source than the rest.

Also noticed a handful of channels that used to be there, have been dropped (ex: GR: ALPHA).

I guess this is the same issue as some of the other international categories. New supplier I guess.

Anyhow, "if" new source is available, it would be appreciated to update the streams.

Just as a reference, the typical main greek channels are:
ANT1, ALPHA, MEGA, ERT 1, ERT 2, ERT3, ERT WORLD, ERT NEWS, OPEN, and SKAI
If Odyssey (also known as OTN1) is available, that is the one the North american distributors carry, which is a mix of other channel programming.

There a few others for the regional ones but those are the big ones.
Example: (KRHTH TV, TV CRETA, NEA, KONTRA, RIK SAT, ANT1 CY, SIGMA CY, MAK.TV, NETMAX, etc..)
