It’s video is fast forwarding for like 2 seconds , stops and fast forwards again. Keeps repeating the same symptom. It also exhibits a Pac-Man video game sound for that 2 second fast forward scene.

Same here. But I do occasionally get a stubborn one that refuses to start streaming. Strange part is that if I instead decide to download it, it starts the download pretty much instantaneously without delay.

Nowadays I often plan what I want to watch and just set it to download in the background to watch later. Works quite well, and then from time to time, I will move the downloads to my nas/plex server for future use.

Good evening, I am receiving more reports of a channel freezing and the slow switching from one channel to another channel issue reoccur. That slow channel problem was around about a month ago but was rectified , looks like it made a reappearance again.

Definitely something with servers.. Was all fine up until an hour ago.
Getting many login / bad gateway errors (had a few friends ask about it), try 2 or 3 times and you get in. The few LiveTV channels I checked seem to be ok.. Many TV Series series seem to be offline for now (like supernatural - not big deal, playing it from my plex server for now for the wife) :)

Wife was watching an episode, and then paused it so we can have an early supper and when she tried to resume, it was all gone. Tried exiting and going back in, but ran into a few errors. Thought maybe box didn't like the long pause, and just moved to another box/room and same issues..

Greek up Indian on our list as you can see we been adding more and more content regularly with almost every local for usa too
one the major providers we used is MIA and we been doing more and more on our own now and a few little providers trades too

I just went through the Greek channels and they were working

The majority are back up. Thanks sat, nice work. I had to do a "refresh" on my BuzzTV Classic, because prior to the refresh, I would see the channel list for the greek channels, but it would not stream. After the "refresh" the majority now stream.

However there are 2 of the most popular greek channels which are not working. One is the GR: MEGA channel which is not streaming. And the other is a channel which used to be in the list, but has been dropped recently, which was GR: ALPHA.

Those 2 channels, along with the GR: ANT1 (which works) are the 3 major channels for Greece.

I had posted the details of the Greek channels and what are the ones most popular in a previous post from last week. No point in reposting the details. It is HERE (https://www.satfix.to/showthread.php?217336-new-wicked-iptv-server-is-up-for-testing&p=1382461#post1382461).

If there is a new reliable source for the GR: MEGA channel to start streaming again, and one for the GR: ALPHA channel to be added back to the list, it would pretty much complete the Greek category.

As a backup, I have temporarily put mom on an auto connecting VPN (Greek server) and have her using an M3U file with direct links to streams direct from Greece which are typically geoblocked. Does the job for now, but quite a bit slower to change channels :)

KISS concert was flawless.

Brought back many memories from so many concerts I went to with my dad as I was growing up. 1st generation immigrant from Greece, but he loved his rock concerts, and we went to quite a few together at the Montreal forum. I even have some of my old ticket stubs from many of them ($7.50 to $12.50 each).

Even remembered the day I was 5 and lined up with my Dad, at Phantasmagoria in Montreal (Park, near Sherbrooke) so he can get the newly released Rock and Roll Over album (yes in Vinyl) and I still have it :)

Hello, I wanted to post an issue from yesterday during the NFL games and some tests performed to rule out ISP issues.
I have not seen any complaints posted here yesterday, so either several users on the east coast had it only or everyone went to the NFL Category to bypass the NBC Local channel issues.
3 states involved from my research, saw all day and night many NBC Locals broadcasting the games, paused, jerked, start-stop during the games. Unwatchable.
US:NBC (WBBH) Fort Myers FL
US:NBC (WCBD) Charleston SC
US:NBC (WMBF) Myrtle Beach SC
US:NBC (WTVJ) Miami FL

these were just a few and I checked many others similar NBCs all doing the exact same thing. Other Locals as CBS, FOX were ok, it seemed to be the heavily watched NFL games on NBCs.
Boxes were rebooted/ Routers were rebooted / VPN tried in 2 states same issue. So I decided to check my cell phone app Smarters, turned off wifi, using ATT. cellular only, placing the Buzz on one NBC local, and setting the Smarters App on same channel, watching side by side both on different subs and providers, they both showed the same frame freeze at same time, indicating this issue was coming from Wicked ?
Today the NBC same channels are fine. Prior to yesterday the previous Sunday had similar issues.
My question is, I know there is a workaround to watch the games, but is this an indication that too many people are logged in to these channels and Wicked has bandwidth or provider issues ? People are asking whats up because they want to watch the local channels.

nfl should be watched on the nfl team channels as they have dedicated multiple servers

yes we are aware of some issues during nfl on locals and isps trying to block them there during games, causing issues on the local's

we have set multiple servers and proxies to nfl team channels servers hence why they work best during the games

we are looking into solutions for locals and easy quick fix was done to nfl team channels we monitored this fix to see if was feasible for locals as-well but need some more testing before dumping in multiple more resources

We always tend to put our complaints here..

But one thing I did notice, is that many of the CA: Global channels (ex: CA: Global Montreal) are finally streaming the actual regional global channel, instead of the regional Global News channel. This was something that was a little messed up for quite a while.

The GR: US Alpha is the "ALPHA SAT" feed which is the North American feed (Time shifted and slight mods). Which is great. But there used to be a GR: ALPHA channel before which was the direct from Greece feed. Similar to what the GR: ANT1 feed is the direct feed from Greece, and the GR: US ANTENNA (S) is the "ANT1 SAT" feed which is the North American feed.

Anyhow, if it is not available, that's fine.

speed at device is in the 100mbps range. just tried a vpn, dropped the speed somewhat but same thing. none of the other HD channels appear to have this bug: a short 2 second video freeze while the audio keeps going. not exactly symptomatic of what a "buffer" would look like most of the time as far as I can tell. i'm on a buzz xrs4500, but my friend on an X5 is getting the same thing and I think others are as well

The key here is that it is ONLY the 1080 channels. The ones streaming in 720 are fine.
I tried it on my Classic (wired connection) (CA: Sportsnet EAST, CA: Sportsnet EAST B, CA: Sportsnet Pacific) and they all microfreeze (video only).
Sportnet Ontario is 720 feed and has no such issues.

I tried switching to Backup player, TS streaming format, etc.. And some combinations are worse than others.

I would have liked to try directly on the NHL channels, but even though both the NHL Arizona and Boston channels EPG shows the game, the stream is not there.

Watching CAN: SPORTSNET EAST (Calgary vs New Jersey right now), and I still get the occasional freeze (every minute or 2). Tried with 2 different VPN and different locations and no difference.

Doesn't bother me (since I am not a sports fan) but on My Classic, wired, 5.0.906, with or without VPN I can reproduce it. It's watchable, but I can see how it can become annoying watching a whole game.

Surprised the NHL channels (even though the matches are listed in the EPG), are not streaming the game. With the new game (NJ and Calgary, it is on the EPG, but stream still says "CHANNEL LIVE EVENT WHEN EVENT AIRING".

Seems to be only sportsnet, because watching USA: ESPN 2 FHD 1080 is flawless.

PS: I do get periods of 4 or 5 minutes where it is flawless, but then it will glitch.

As per Emporium feedback, I experienced the same occasional freeze when watching the Boston vs Phoenix game on Can:sportsnet Pacific and same channel under the premium sports section

The east feed for me was much more solid.

I turned on both real time streaming and tunnel feedback on the buzz with no improvement on the occasional freeze, not even sure what those 2 options actually do.

TSN4 is freezing up, but TSN 5 is playing the same game and it is flawless so far. And don't forget you have the NFL category and you can watch the same game on the NFL DALLAS or NFL PHILLI channel if you have to.

Are Pluto channels down on wicked ?

I typically use Pluto_US: This old house and Pluto_US: Americas test Kitchen, and both are not working. I spot checked some other Pluto-CA/US and UK channels and none are working. I think they are on-demand, so they can take a few secs to get started streaming, but right now, I can't get any to stream.

And I know the Pluto service is fine, since if I switch to my dedicated Pluto M3U list, all the channels work just fine.

Further update tonight :

We are still getting the occasional video micro freeze on sportsnet west and sportsnet pacific in both the CA: and Premium Sports section while watching the Leafs vs Islanders game.

I have changed a number of settings and directed the vpn connection to different countries with no improvement in the micro freezes.

This has also been brought to my attention by a number of end users who are experiment the same result.

It is watchable in the lower resolution channels tonight .

Strange thing, absolutely no freezes on the commercials whatsoever. Smooth as a nice clean sheet of ice:)

Yes it seems ALL PlutoTV all channels are down: US, CA and UK feeds are all down for the last four (4) days.
I have quite a few in my Favorites list, so I hope we can get them back. Good resolution too.

Incidentally, a word of advice:

If you watch NFL games it’s always best viewed on the official NFL Team channels because more servers are dedicated to them;
Watching the games on local affiliated stations is typically more choppy

The only reason you would get better performance would be if your ISP is throttling. Otherwise, NO.
And yes, it does use the exact same sum, since it is the exact same panel on the backend. Does not mean you have 2 connections on old panel and an additional 2 connections on the new one.

Wicked is typically proactive and on occasion provides alternate domains to overcome various issues. You can check out the other sticky (below this one for now) which is specifically for alternate domains. This is not a first for wicked.

we are seeing a few reports of some people having to use vpn's
looks like some isps are blocking but also some people on same isp's not getting blocked we are looking into this to see what we may be able to do to help

if you cant connect try a vpn id you have one if you dont you should as this is only going to get worse over time with isp's and all iptv providers

personally i dont think its isp`s blocking more like hackers scanning novice hackers that dont know they
shouldnt be playing a service that their scanning at the same time everytime they get a hit it will ban the
ip of the scanner and the user if if hes using the service if that user and scanner has a static ip only the current range will get banned
static ip`s are replaced by isp`s periodically so the service will come back eventually.some iptv hacker tools allow you to force a static ip
range change.you have a dynamic ip your out of luck...

Some ISPs are definitely actively blocking. I sell one service and I know for a fact that all my customers which are on a specific ISP, all at the same time started having issues during prime time. And it was not the service itself, because if they fire up a VPN, it all works fine. And coincidently all my customers using the other major ISP in the area, do not have these issues.

Let's not forget, at least here in Canada, many of the major ISPs are also owned by our media giants and they own the rights to a lot of the channels and other content that are being streamed. Therefore it did not take much pushing from the courts for them to gladly start trying to block what they can. Any disruption and if they can retain 1 extra customer because they customer can't tolerate a hiccup in their IPTV service or just technically has no clue how, then it is a win for them.

I just confirmed 9105 is an nfl channel new orlean saints vs New York giants. It is freezing and did take about 3-5 seconds to kick in originally
I will confirm that the channel changes are longer but we’re great earlier in the day when watching the Manchester United vs Liverpool game.

Channel numbers mean absolutely nothing. Different boxes, different software and even different version of software will number the channel in a variety of ways. Channel numbers are NOT assigned by the server, but rather the software you are using.

Please just specify the channel name [like US: FOX (KADN) LAFAYETTE ]. The Channel name is what the server provides and the easiest way to be sure of exactly what channel everyone is talking about.

Channel changes are really slow this afternoon (for the channels that work).

I also have quite a few US channels that are not streaming. Tried new domain, tried a few different VPN servers (Canada/US/Germany)... And still nothing.
Ex: US: Food Network, US: Cooking Channel, US: History, US: COMEDY Network, etc... Anyhow, I'll wait it out. No biggie. The "Low-bitrate) channel category seem to work (but slow channel change).

I had quite a few from earlier today which I was going to post, but looks like many have been fixed :) Nice work.

However here are a few that are still there:

FRCAN: ICI RDI has wrong EPG. Seems to have the same EPG as FRCAN: ICI RADIO CANADA (which has correct EPG) but it is not the same channel or programming.

CA: ICI ARTV has wrong EPG. Should be same EPG as the FRCAN: ARTV (which is the same channel)

FRCAN: ICI VANCOUVER is offline, but EPG seems ok
CA: VRAK HD is offline and no EPG. Guess this should have been an FRCAN channel technically, but no biggie.

CA: OMNI EAST and CA: OMNI2 should swap EPG ids.
CA: OMNI 1 has correct EPG (for what OMNI 1 should be playing) but wrong stream (currently streaming same as OMNI 2 - which is essentially OMNI PACIFIC)

CA: MTV completely out of sync audio/video
CA: MAKEFUL presently offline

CA: INVESTIGATION HD - Wrong EPG (it's in french) :) Should probably be the same as CA: CRIME INVESTIGATION - seems like same stream just off by a few seconds.

It could be your devices player, you haven't given enough information to pin point the issue. But this I do know its not spinning at your location or mine. Train your people to do all the things mentioned before making complaints. If they still have an issue, check at your end to confirm the issue, then report it.

I checked about 4 or 5 nhl games under the USA NHL category with teams that are playing tonight and they are not activated.
I was able to locate a few of them under some different categories like premium sports, Bally sports etc.
The games not being activated under the USA NHL category category and it has been brought to my attention by other people. Apparently there has been multiple nights where the games are not viewable under that USA NHL category , the issue has been more prevalent in the last month.

I ended up going to the TNT channel and already 10 minutes had elapsed on the bruins game on the channel TNT while the USA NHL was still blank.
Maybe there opening up those channels much later than the start of the games.

Some games were not on earlier. Example: Teams A and B are playing, but game is aired on channel Team A, but not on Team B in many cases.

Right now the Vegas & Anaheim game is not playing on either the Vegas or Anaheim NHL channels. Did a refresh and still nothing. Started at 10PM Eastern time.

However it is playing on the CA: Super Sports 454 and 455 channel under the MLB, NBA, NHL, NCAA... category...

CAN: SN Ontario was flawless for the sens leafs game. kudos
SN ONE in both CAN and CA brackets however was still doing the intermittent freeze thing for the Raptors game, as were some of the other SN channels. Hopefully whichever source/format gave us such a nice evening for the sens game can be swapped out for the others as well

My understanding is that they control the domain on the app. But if you want to modify it yourself, you can instead install IPTV Smarters and then enter the portal URL manually. OK, you won't have the wicked skin, but otherwise should be pretty much the same.

Good morning , it looks like the same chronic sportsnet channels are still experiencing a number of quick micro freezing on a consistent basis

CAN:sportsnet west
CAN:sportsnet pacific
CA:sportsnet one (was mentioned by another user yesterday)

It was pretty bad around 7:30 eastern time, it had settled down a touch around 7:45 but still prevalent. They r so quick that it may still be related to packet loss .

Just curious if there are presently any issues with bandwidth on the VOD server ?

I had a 2 friends mention to me that they can't smoothly stream any 4k movies, and that they buffer. Downloading them first and then watching them works fine. Both friends have fiber at home (1 is 1Gbps and the other is 1.5Gbps) and they are hardwired to their routers. They have also tried using 2 different VPN services connecting to 2 different servers. And no difference.

I tried it myself last night at 1:30am Eastern time (figured lower demand period - and I am on a different ISP than them), and tried to stream "Black Widow 4k version" and it was constantly buffering also. I did get a small stretch after about 2 minutes, where it was seemed to stabilize and work smoothly, but it was short lived. I even checked my firewall during this period and I was not even close to hitting the max on my bandwidth availability.

LiveTV and non-4k VOD are fine.


BTW: I am using my xrs4900, hardwired, and my 2 buddies are using Nvidia Shield using the wickedapk.

In my case, I was streaming the 4k version, but watching on a 1080p display, but that should not make any difference, since the downscaling is done on my buzz box with little effort.

Just want to get a feel on if it is a common issue...

Both friends have fiber at home (1 is 1Gbps and the other is 1.5Gbps) and they are hardwired to their routers. They have also tried using 2 different VPN services connecting to 2 different servers. And no difference.

I tried it myself last night at 1:30am Eastern time (figured lower demand period - and I am on a different ISP than them), and tried to stream "Black Widow 4k version" and it was constantly buffering also. I did get a small stretch after about 2 minutes, where it was seemed to stabilize and work smoothly, but it was short lived. I even checked my firewall during this period and I was not even close to hitting the max on my bandwidth availability.

LiveTV and non-4k VOD are fine.


BTW: I am using my xrs4900, hardwired, and my 2 buddies are using Nvidia Shield using the wickedapk.

In my case, I was streaming the 4k version, but watching on a 1080p display, but that should not make any difference, since the downscaling is done on my buzz box with little effort.

Just want to get a feel on if it is a common issue...

Just asked a buddy of mine who religiously watches redzone every weekend, and he tells me it was pretty solid all afternoon (no vpn) using his second Buzz Classic he just bought :) He did hear the occasional audio glitch, but nothing more than that.

Same happened to me during stars game. In NHL section had 2 feeds and would drop out to NHL Logo. Change back and forth between channels and would come back in for a few seconds. I also somehow found it in Bally section yet it was probably the only one there with no info in guide

5 minutes was actually pretty quick tonight, this was more of a feedback from my side on what I am witnessing after receiving a number of phone calls from friends and family about the blackouts happening on these channels recently.
Overall this is only the third game I have even watched on these channels, my viewing experience is pretty limited .
First few months of the season I was told this wasn’t happening so it is better to bring it to the attention for the powers to be if there is actually a problem.

I had used the Montreal vs Buffalo tonight as a test. The last period blanked out at least 6 times and as of 9:36 eastern time still blanked out. It comes in and out as mentioned with a previous forum user.

Went to Tsn 2 for the same game on the other box and smooth as a clean sheet of ice..perfect perfect perfect

It was definitely a rough night last night. Slow channel changes, 502 errors, freezing on a number of channels, not sure if it had to do with the load on the servers with nfl and golden globe awards playing but the number of phone calls from friends and family complaining was quite overwhelming.
Not a good night overall..hopefully better tonight.
Wicked overall has been really good, some issues in the past month still haven’t been resolved like the intermittent freezing on some sportsnet channels. That is still ongoing.
Hardest issue is explaining to people that if global freezes change to a different network to watch the show if it’s available there.

It had a micro freeze and the.froze solid .

Ok I read the shutdown notice and it’s going to affect EVENTUALLY more than just PlutoTV but all free public FAST services

FAST is Free Advertisement Supported Television (PlutoTV, Tubi, Samsung plus etc)

Now this means you can download their free App, but that is obviously inconvenient and annoying

The simpler and automatically updated approach is to use Matt Huismann’s redirected url .m3u playlists
that we can load “on the fly” all the FAST free and legal public servers.

Sat9182 I think it should be an easy script to code and redirect these redirected FAST links that Matt is providing, so it shows up and works in our IPTV and has both EPG and it automatically updates when the providers change their urls.

In the meantime we can simply add his M3U playlists manually to our BuzzTV 4500 server settings menu

But obviously that is less convenient than having it already in our wickedTV since you login and out and back and forth
so you have to build up and save a playlist if you want to watch FAST providers like: PlutoTV, Tubi, Plex etc

I already added PlutoTV link for my Buzz 4500 and their 385 US channels load much faster and change quickly, but I the received the
link from a member here, so you have to look for it. Plus PlutoTV link may change andvv v the others too.

Matt Huismann provides a link to many of these FAST provided M3U playlist links on his website
just not PlutoTV because of the “shutoff” notice.

Even though they are free servers or FAST Providers it is considered piracy to redirect them.

So I would expect this will be a challenge for IPTV private services moving forward

So the sooner we get a working PlutoTV script the better, because TubiTV, Plex and others will be next

A while back they used to be "on demand" if I recall (hence why they take a sec before they start to stream). So not really "huge" resource, unless the channels are being streamed. However if maintaining the links is time consuming, I don't mind either way, but that's obviously not a call for the wicked admins :)

It’s behaving like the other sportsnet channels pacific, east and west that were already fixed and working great now.
