I wish sat would drop those free services all together. Samsung has an url that loads just like your paid servers and appears within you player. They are just an app that stops playing anyways, why waste resources and time.

all you do is change channels until you come to the last channel copy and paste the captures
of each channel off wireshark you do have to allow time for each chaanel to load once it loads
you can change to the next channel these being from plutos app they will track you thats what the
mpa`s big stink is pluto wants to track you and smother you with adds that's why git hub took theirs down
cause you couldn't be tracked. so this guy here doesn't have to do anything to this list other than
add and remove channels its been up for years used to use it in my xbmc/kodi addon i thought this was
the list wicked was probably using those links you get from windows pluto tv using the windows developer tool
inspect at pluto do a right click on a playing channel click inspect network and media these media streams will change often
these lists that were around like github were for eliminating the adds and tracking.

watching kalb in fhd and it hasn't froze once

I went through about a dozen of the 201
stopped on wvla and it's fhd and still no freezing
the ones that you say are flawless are only hd

In the past, I also found on these entry level boxes, once you start enabling VPN, watching an FHD feed, and enabling features like TimeShift can take a toll (was the source of glitches a while back for me). They take up precious processing and I/O bandwidth and if the USB key (for TS) is marginal, it is going to cause problems. Maybe enable a 3 to 5 second buffer also, which "can" help also.

Hello my RFD friend. Another useful thing to help, especially with boxes with lower RAM or CPU spec will be disabling energy optimization in the Android apps extended settings. AnyDesk for example will warn you about this now by default. Cheers

Nothing was done to the E5 box and mysteriously all the freezing stopped on the nbc feeds.
I had a few people reach out to me using a buzz x5 and even a Nvidia box running the wicked apk and they all experienced the same freezing on those channels.
I don’t think memory or cpu usage on the boxes had any impact on todays streams .
All is well because the backup channels worked great.

Yep, those Tsn and sky sports were not only perfect but rock solid.. . I still myself haven’t figured out the problem and tested 2 vpns. Ipvanish and cyberghost with the same negative results with freezing on the nbc feeds.
I even changed the protocols tcp to udp in the vpn settings.
Will play around if another games comes along on the nbc feeds again.
For now I am 0 for 2.

Yep got a message from a neighbor asking if there were any known issues. Tried from my phone and had to retry stream several times but eventually came in.. I think they're having technical difficulties

It started with the slow channel change symptom that is so intermittent and difficult to locate the issue and happens at night .
Once logged out, really difficult to get back in.

Some friends saying many channels are fully black receiving 404 errors on stream attempt

There's some kind of vast outage affecting a few people I have but isn't affecting me. They tell me which channels are black and send pictures but when I check here it loads right away. They are Formuler users, I wonder if it's related to that

Food Network CA and CP24 both not working for these users, for example, but are fine here

Could be ISP blocking/testing in prep for super bowl weekend. Have they tried with a VPN ? Have the tried with the alternate https://

Thanks for the ideas, sadly these are the very first things I tried. I'm leaning towards it now being some kind of redirect issue. OTT Navigator can tune the channels just fine, but TiviMate and Formuler IPTV software cannot. All using same VPN endpoint and same login credentials - identical scenarios but only OTT can tune the channel. The other two report Error 502

I'm experiencing it on both domains indeed

Edit - further investigation finding mostly CA section affected, the US channels working much better

Not a time to ask questions when the stress level is up and the team is trying to figure out the issue.
Just pass on the message to end users that system is under maintenance and if need be figure out a way to get back up temporarily on something else..kodi, free apps, alternative streaming etc.
I have learned in service, the less u talk, the less chances the words get altered after they are passed on from people to people .
More talk doesn’t mean quicker service

True enough leafs99 like they can make a CTV login but some people don't pick stuff up to fast. Plus city I am in CTV uses VHF for OTA so you need a VHF antenna, so OTA is difficult here. IKS is up. Was actually curious what the mean about 1 stream that's all.

Guess the outage was short, because I've been watching for the last 2 hrs and no issues.. And just checked CA: Discovery and a few other channels and they are fine.

Probably work in background and may have needed to restart/reboot something.

Crap happens. Like I tell all customers. Don't expect 99.99% uptime on all channels. Get a cheap backup to always have something if you can't be without your TV..

Funny part, is last weekend I was cleaning up my utility room as I swapped out 2 smaller network switches for one larger one, and replaced 3 PoE+ injectors with a small PoE+ switch. While cleaning up I decided to take down and decommission all my Channel Master equipment. I unplugged/removed the power injector for my CM-7778 pre-Amp, and removed my CM distribution amp, and all related cabling. Too cold to take down my CM4228 right now, but was planning to take it down this spring, since I barely use it any more.

But now I am wondering :)

They have taken a db backup and are currently performing a full reinstall of the panel

JHonestly the past 2 weeks have been a degrading issue, especially on high volume usage like NFL channels. It seems there are bottlenecks during these busy times. The other day the new episode of True Detective came out, and none of us could watch it because of pausing all the time. In the morning it was perfect, so we are definitely seeing many different issues.

Sat his given enough explanations. It is not pleasant for anyone, but crap happens.

I tell everyone that there are ups and downs with all services, no matter how good or stable the past has been. And at the same time, I tell everyone, that if they can't go a few days without a stream, they should get a backup service. Plenty of decent ones to choose on these forums form reputable, long time members. Opportunity to try out something else also.

Or if they want to be cheap, they can get some cheap ones from AliExpress which come to less than $0.10/day. They are cheap, they surely are not as good as wicked in it's good days, but you can at least use it as a backup (when they work).

If you are impatient, then read some of Highwayman's "tutorials" and get yourself some "free" hacked accounts :) Plenty to be had out there.

No JTAG and EEPROM to flash

No cards to drag around

Not having to worry about doing anything because the service will fix itself when the admins are able to

On BuzzTV Classic, with VOD+TVSeries player set to "Backup", there is NO sync issues. I watched the first 15 minutes (direct stream - not downloaded), then advanced it a few times to different parts, and It is spot on.

All of the issues currently being experienced are 110% caused by 1stream panel and there owners/staff

There is no bad config or hardware issues on our side.

Remember back about a week ago, when the only issue that we had was when the panel was under heavy load (i.e. NFL game times) and the connection point server started to have an issue.
Yes, customers could not log in, change channels etc, but if you stayed on a channel there was barely any issue. And the issue sorted itself out within an hour or so.

This was raised as a ticket, and the solution from 1stream, add a 2nd connection point server.
As part of that work they made significant changes in order for that to work (and did not share in a majority of these cases exactly what they had done).

As soon as that was performed by 1stream, we have had nothing but these serious issues on a daily basis.
Nothing else was changed on our side (config or hardware wise), this was the only change that was made.

So, to conclude, we are totally in the hands of 1stream with this issue. It was caused by them and it is upto them to fix it.

The tickets are still open, and they have advised us that they are monitoring everything as it happens.

There panel files are encrypted so cant even go in and fix our self this issue at this time

If anyone reading this ever decides to start there own service I suggest you stay away from 1stream

There is no secondary player on new devices.

And don't forget you can set different player for LiveTV and different player for VOD+TV Series on current BuzzTV 5 version. for VOD+TV Series, you can even set it to external player (mxplayer, vlc, etc..) if you want.

So I tried the VLC external player on another movie Equalizer 3 and it worked fine, so something about Ferrari is not being liked here. have tried primary a couple of times but after a couple of issues switched to backup and left it that way

Stream Format = HLS

Never really have an issue. Try to never pause for to long. If voice I a little off after pausing just hit the rewind button twice and it will be back in sync.
Been doing that for a year now and it normally always works.

1-stream decided to roll back the panel to the previous version where we had stayed because things were extremely stable minus the connection point issues. We were a few versions behind because we noticed significant performance issues when we tried upgrading in the past.

When 1-stream added the 2nd connection point, they thought it would be a good idea to update the panel version simultaneously to try to get everything on the latest version. We were against this because we had issues in the past, but they assured us this was the best route.

Well, they put their pride aside and admitted there is an issue with the newer panels, and it became exaggerated quickly due to the number of users we have compared to other small services using their software.

They re-installed the previous version and modified the configuration to work with the double connection point setup, and it's looking much more stable.

We are still in crisis mode, and everything is being monitored 24/7, but I just wanted to share what seems to be a positive update regarding the service.
