Indeed "CA: COOKING CHANNEL" was fixed quickly last night. However, funny enough, right now it is looping on the EXACT same clip segment it was last night :) And about 2 minutes ago, it switched to "beach scene" so figured they were restarting it, but it is back to the looping clip.

When they get a sec, can they look at it. Thanks.

They are usually pretty quick if source is fine (thanks Sat) :) I usually give it 15/20 minutes before reporting since sometimes it is just a momentary glitch.
But I had switched to another source to finish watching the program so just switched back and noticed it was back up.

BTW: AMI TELE and Planete HD+ are back up also. Like I said.. They rock :)

Yes, last night (I tried around 11pm Eastern time) TV Series did have an issue. I tried to watch Star Trek discovery last 2 episodes and for the most part, it would not start. I tried switching to both internal players on my Buzz box, and even tried 3 other external players. The 1 or 2 times that it did actually start to stream, it froze within seconds and would not continue. Figured it was a server issue, bandwidth issue, or some maintenance going on in the background, so I temporarily switched to BeeTV app to watch the episodes (which I fell asleep through anyhow).
This morning, I checked and TV Series worked fine again.


Could someone take a look at CBS/WBOC? It is freezing multiple times in 5 mins time.

Been watching for nearly 10 minutes now, and has not frozen single time, on my old BuzzTV E1. You should probably check your network/router/modem/box. Time for a reboot I guess.

Figured it was a server issue, bandwidth issue, or some maintenance going on in the background, so I temporarily switched to BeeTV app to watch the episodes (which I fell asleep through anyhow).
This morning, I checked and TV Series worked fine again.



Been watching for nearly 10 minutes now, and has not frozen single time, on my old BuzzTV E1. You should probably check your network/router/modem/box. Time for a reboot I guess.

This only seems to be affecting my Buzztv HD5 and not my Formuler. I have them on the same channel. Weird.

Well, no issues here.. It is still streaming in the background and has been solid. So issue for this one, is NOT on the server side (which is obvious considering you said it works fine on your formuler).

HD5 rebooted ? Not suspend.. Full shutdown and reboot (watch buzz animation), or just pull power and replug. Maybe clear cache also, just in case.

Anyhow, if problem continues, take it to the buzz hardware thread, since this specific issues is not related to the server.

One very nice thing about wicked, is that there are so many locals (cbs and others), and there is an EPG for most of them, that unless you are watching local news, your program is surely playing also on another local channel, since programming is very similar.

Actually right now CA: TVA Montreal (and FRCAN: TVA MTL HD) audio video is out of sync by a good 5 to 7 seconds :)

EDIT: now 11:50pm Eastern time, just checked and both channel seem back in sync. Don't know if you reset them, but thanks.

EDIT 2: 5/15 @ 3pm (eastern), they are once again out of sync by at least 7 to 10 seconds.

I'm assuming you have already had a reset done on the panel for your account ? Tried changing MAC to ensure it is not being used by someone else ? Tried with an without a VPN ?

Have you "tried" just as a test, an XC login account, even with the wicked apk (or even the smarters app) ?

Ya, but sometimes ISPs will throttle only certain type of traffic, and sometimes only destined to known servers.

I find that there are some series (mostly from the new ones that they added - so possibly on a separate server), that barely get past 1 or 2 seasons, and then the server is restarted, so they all start from the beginning again.
Wife has been watching 24/7 Third watch, for the past few weeks (it's the background filler) and I keep telling her to just watch in on TV Series (since they are all there) but she prefers the 24/7 channel for some odd reason. I think I've seen the first 10 episodes or so, like 20 times in the last month... Lol

Some nights the 24/7 work flawless. Some nights, I will noticed that "Third watch" will start to freeze roughly every 30 minutes or so (for about 5 seconds), then when it unfreezes, it 30 second rewind and it continues. But as the night progresses it gets more and more frequent, and then next morning, I notice that the series has restarted from the beginning.

I know Big Bang theory was not in the "newly" added list (probably one of the original) but not sure if there was some shuffling for some load balancing.

One thing that would be nice, is if the server would be able to flag the episodes that it has played during a sequence. That way if the server is rebooted, it could at least start the series from the last episode played. Then when it plays the last episode, it can reset the flags, and start over.

EDIT: In the last 20 minutes, "24/7 Third watch" has frozen 5 times for about 5 seconds.. And 3 times when it comes back it starts from T-20 seconds or so.

From LiveTV, hit the Menu button Settings->Configuration, and you should see the players on the first 2 options. Forst is Live TV, and you should have options of "Primary" and "Backup". VOD/TVSeries is "Primary", "Backup", or "External". For wicked, I find that "Primary" for LiveTV and "Backup" for VOD/TVSeries works best.

Another thing to check is the 7th option in that Configurations menu. It is for "Stream Format". Default is "Automatic" I believe, but I find if you force it to "M3U8/HLS" it works best with wicked.

PS: If this doesn't fix your issue, please start a discussion to the BuzzTV section of this forum (to keep sat9182's thread to the point), since your issue is more box specific.

I agree Surfshark has been faulty for weeks now. Changing location can still be a miss, I will not be renewing with them.

The problem was not on the server end since it was fine for the rest of us.
Could be your ISP, could be your WiFi, could be your modem, etc.. You could rule out your WiFi if you have a cable long enough to plug into your router directly next time.

I have a buddy of mine where his WiFi worked great for ages, and then suddenly it would have moments when it it be unusable even with great signal strength showing. After months of trying to figure it out, it turned out to be one of the neighbours had gotten a compressor, and when the compressor would kick in, for some dumb reason, the WiFi would go crazy for about 10-15 minutes. Bizarre behaviour. I assume it was power related or something, since the issues stopped shortly after he put his modem and router on a decent UPS.

You may want to double check that
I monitored your login during the whole fight and watched you try few different channels and the vpn stayed on the whole time

if you have issues again with it on turn it of and reboot box and see if difference so you know vpn is off

specially if you cant trust them to use there only how many connections you allowed them

right now its set to only allow the max connections and not kick first off but that setting can be changed anytime and has been a few times to test stuff
