I would suspect Sat9182 will pop in and give a heads up as to what's shaking, sooner or later. This sub always been top notch for a long long time and a simple power outage could be the cause.

Not sure which receiver you have, but there should be a SAT setting to show which satellites you currently have selected. If you have both BEV and Dishnet satellites selected the BEV channels will have the 2 and 3 digit placed before the channel numbers to differentiate them from the Dishnet channels. If you select only BEV package the 2 and 3 would be removed. That is how mine is. Not sure if your receiver would be the same.

Some of you might not have any channels working if you are using sidless receivers like nFusion or CNX or STB receivers that use a router or PC to enter your ID, Password to connect.
These receivers most likely are connected with Port 54321 and will depend on other users to populate the channel, or else the channels are down.
STB receivers like Nanosat, Dreamlink, Limesat should connect with ease with the available SD channels.
REMEMBER…..This is a hobby and the IKS will go down anytime.
sat9182 is doing a us a service and we are grateful to him for that. He is away from his home-base and until he is home, we will have to wait with whatever channels we have currently.

Thanks everyone for the info and I have something to pass on to the NHL junkies that need to get there fix. If you have a PC Mac, Linux, Windows do a search for LazyMan you will get all games in 720p and you can watch multiple games at the same time if you so want to. You can also watch past games that you have missed it's really great software. Just make sure you have VLC media player installed. Everything here is free and it works great it's been the way I have been getting my fix for a while now.

Sorry on post for Raptors game,thought the post saying i want Raptors when we all know service is out would help him be able to find game while we wait for Sat9182 get back from his vacation, again Sat9182 has posted us on what's going on and a time frame of when we can expect service to be restored,really it's all we come to this post to look at so we do not make changes on our end. If one chooses to sub or not sub is totally up to them,this service does a great job informing all of whats going on and may i add is up 99% of the time. I know i go on vacation from time to time,so Sat9182 is entitled to one as well and might i add explained such and a time frame for when he is expected back so you can either hang tight,look elsewhere but complaining about it won't help anything.Before you know it everything will be back up and from the sounds of it you won't have to talk to your wives again.

You've been around since 2012 and you still don't know how to read a thread? sat9182 is on a well deserved vacation and he's doing all he can from somewhere in the Caribbean to keep his customers abreast of the situation. Minal, you may be new to this...but, if you try reading the past posts from the past few days you would of seen post 909 which is from sat9182 which answered the very same question you asked. I know we would all like the tv to all be up but asking what has already been answered beforehand is not helping the rest of us as we should be using this thread to report if service is either up or down so we do not change our end out when its not needed. Hopefully the needed equipment will arrive and sat9182 installs it and you will see a post saying such, until than please keep questions to if you are up or down, and in this case you did list you were down, but at this point if you had been reading posts that part has been reported and we are all waiting when reports come that service has been restored. Remember it is the holiday season and hopefully parts arrive soon, but the post office might be a wee bit busy at this point in time.

trying to diagnose my brothers issue with service, he is watching a channel and changes channel, changes back to original channel gets "scramble channel" has to reboot stb and go to channel 084 to get it working again, channels take awhile to come in, no chnnel 504 (bnn) , volume level keeps changing, we have rebooted router, hard rebooted stb, fresh channel scan many times, problem this end or just a factor of 9182 service not being fully fixed yet?

Using port 54321; was originally on 12345 and worked much better. Said I was causing problems with the system so switched me over. Will be switching to another provider when this term is up. Told my neighbor the same thing and his dreamlink was just hooked up to one bell dish and no dish network so someone is giving wrong information. He will be switching as well.

if you send bad data / request to the server on working channels you get a warning
3 strikes then you get moved to cache port

everyone is given a chance to fix there box and or issue before they get moved to cache port

good luck with your new provider when your time is up i bet they wont give you 3 chances to fix issue
you will be lucky if they dont just scrap you

most dont even set up a cache port so you can still have some tv

we will not let a few users screw up the system for everyone else who work fine

What box do you have? And do you sub to south IKS? If you do some reading in past posts you will see what Sat9182 is trying to tell you about sending out bad requests on your side. Not trying to knock you here, just wondering what box you have and what your settings are, with that info maybe someone here could help you instead of just giving up and blaming Sat9182

your neighbour should use 12345
if you want to use it you need to turn off connection to south or you will get banned for causing conflict

like i said everyone is given 3 chances and if you cant correct in them 3 chances you get moved

that box cant tell diff in provider ids so will send dish requests to bev port messing it up for everyone else

if you want back on main port you need to take dish off the box,lnb must be taken off and channels cleared and just bev scanned in

or stay on cache port 54321

choice is yours


if you dont like way we run our service you are more then welcome to look for another provider or get a sub or maby start your own server

Thanks I’ll give that a try but don’t think it will help as my neighbor has no PVR and has the same scrambled channels.

I know from my own experience that there are problems using disecq switches when you have 2 receivers. I dont know how your switches are setup but you could be having issues with your switches. I have 2 receivers setup and I had problems with missing channels until I connected my 91 & 82 dishes to a Zinwell 4x4 switch. That solved the problem

My neighbor has no disecq switch as he is only using the 91 satellite and he has the same channels scrambled that I do but thanks for the info.

It is just another thing to consider removing,when dealing with receiver issues along with the reboots and resets. Once the issue is resolved replace and see if the issue returns. lesson learned.
