using DLT5 was working no problem until today

Working fine here:tried half a dozen or so channels.Same stb.If you haven't already tried,reboot your network & then the T5.Worth a try.

I have a bell dish and i get a full signal on Sat 119 so i scanned it and i get channels on it , i wanted to watch the NFLD. channel this afternoon but its sat 82 so i went to channel 199 on sat 119 and it came in great you can try that for sat 82 channels sat. 110 work like sat 82 good luck

I'm using a Dreamlink T5. On the 91 satellite, 18 transponders show unknown network, when I scan those tp's no channels appear. The tp's with the problem are both polarities so it's not a voltage problem (82 sat I see no problems). A few hours ago I was not getting any EPG, just checked a few minutes ago and there is some epg data. I'm thinking there is a problem with the 91 satellite, I no longer have a bev subbed receiver so I can't check that out.

What Box/Receiver are you using ? could your Dish have moved (windy) or loose cable connections etc.
Also are you getting any Fault Messages or any Messages showing up on TV, Like bad signal or No signal etc.

using dreamlink t5 all of sudden getting bad signal messages.. dish supported on side of chimney so better insulated from wind though it is windy lately with off and on rain storms.. signal strength usually has been 60s range now 50s..
any ideas .. north was working fine til bell had problems last week and internet node had issues per your updates week before.
used to get more programs coming in then now.. getting due for sub renewal tomorrow and trying to figure out what the issue is . if by some chance due to warmer weather can internet co or power co be cutting power .. this happened all of a sudden ..

TBS is not on sat9182...that's a south channel. I also just looked and today's (June 15) yankee game is not listed in my guide. Is it just me or does Bev not have the yankees games? I am using a dreamlink hd ird and have scanned both 91 & 82 again.

EDIT: It seems Rogers Sportsnet has rights to this and other games so they are only on snnow streaming service....except in Quebec where RDS2 has this game.

Thanks to all for your help, the problem was the internet, rebutted the Telus router 3 times and it finally kicked in. My Ethernet pc was ok and wifi was ok but not the sat. box. I should have checked first the sat box for Ethernet, lesson learned, next time I will. It could be because Telus is working on the fiber optics cable in our neighborhood.

At one point I had issues with my receiver (Dreamlink T5) that were corrected by replacing the power adapter...if nothing else seems to be the issue you may wanna look into that (if you have the same receiver).

try rebooting your router and modem

thanks for confirming we see server is connecting but it seems we only get pictures after sun goes down now or early in the morning
due to the smoke coming to new york .. its in the atmosphere still despite some rain on wednesday afternoon .. and breezy day today more rain possible friday so hopefully in time everything will come back to normal . its been this way for the past couple weeks some days really bad like now .. alot of channels bad signal no signal since the smoke ..

If he is using a T5 box then the bad/no signal showing up is the tell-tale sign that the power adapter is on it's way out or failed
especially if it was the original that came with it.

Unless the amount of ash from the smoke is covering your Lnb and dish there is not a significant amount of signal loss with smoke. What is your usual signal strength on a good day?

I should problely move this to the dreamlink page, it appears that most transponders are getting any where from 55 to 73 % but 12268 will turn red and flash back blue

If MPEG 4 is in the future, only turbo 8psk modulated hardware will work.The 9242 will work as well as Dreamlink,Sonicview,ect with the turbo 8psk module installed.

what i meant was, with the upgrade to mpeg 4 only irds, the only irds left to use the cam for iks is the 9242, d!sh was hitting cams back in the day when they did the mpeg4 upgrade, and it ended iks down south. if bev is now doing the same, well, iks end is near, i dont have any gear left to take a look at what is actually happening, thats why i was wondering, did the cams get hit, do they work in the subbed ird or just a black screen now?

not familiar with the 611, i know d!sh had the 622, it was the same as the 9242, just different providers. can you get the required cam/ird info to run iks from a 611? 9242 is the only remaining ird that i am aware of that you can extract the SK from the tsop, but as said i have not been involved in a while, my question still is, do the ecm cams still work in subbed ird or do you just get black screen.

if running on backup, and if cams are as d!sh did, then well, when the ecm comes back, may be game over, unless u got more cams, if was ecm, need to get details, see if same as d!sh did, block the emm

Check your sat feed with known working ird.

Check your capacitors, look for bulged or leaking. Do a search on the web there are lots of pictures to guide you for what to look at.

it sure would be nice if sat9182 would be honest and let us know what is going on. sat9182 you know what is going on, the ird upgrade is getting rid of modable irds, leaving 9242 only to run IKS, do you have said irds? if not you also know when the tiers on cams expire, guess will see if UFC is ordered this saturday, if not, only assume they have completed the ird upgrade and have no 9242 cams to use and are running with emms off till tiers expire on old ird cams

I will get to checking them over next couple days to verify and fix as needed

if it is a channel that only one or two people watch it may not be added as may not be feasible
